My name is Hayleigh Ngoc Tam Michelle Pearson, and I am six years old. I am the youngest child in my family. I have brown eyes and long black hair that I wear in pigtails; and I also have yellow skin.
I have three older sisters named Miracle (11), Jordan (9), and Sapphire Ronee (she's the oldest girl at 15), and I also have five older brothers: Henry Long (8), Jamar (10), Malik (11; he and Miracle are twins), Ash (13), and Brandt (15).
We live in Fort Worth, Texas. My mom, Phoebe, is a mommy, and my daddy, Milton, is a teacher and a coach at a high school. All but the three oldest kids are adopted. I am adopted, too; I was born in Vietnam.
I just came into this family just before Thanksgiving. I was adopted because my mommy couldn't care for me. I was too much for her, I guess. I was born with paralyzed legs, and I can't walk yet (but sure would love to; I want to walk with crutches and metal on my legs; that is my biggest dream right now). I was born with something called "spina bifida".
I am in the first grade, and my teacher is Mrs. Wilke ("Will-Key"). My best friends at my school are Gaylene Peters, Kata Rhodes, and Michayela Moore (she is probably my "bestest" friend!). But I don't like Ethan Cook; he is such a NASTY! He picks on me because I am in a wheelchair, and I think that is MEAN!! He also makes fun of me and calls me "Ching-Chong Chinaman", and I don't like that AT all! :(
I want to be a weather person when I grow up and do the weather on tv. I like weather, and I always have. But I DON'T like tornadoes and stuff; they give me the creeps! :( (It DOESN'T help that we don't have a basement; and seeing I now live in Texas I think we need a basement; that way, if a tornado comes, we can HIDE!!).
