When my wife, Maria, and I, native 'Yats - from New Orleans, honeymooned to Hawaii in 1983, we got to meet the "Dean Martin" of the East: "Don-Ho," who was famous for his "Tiny Bubbles" song.
My wife, Lady M, made sure I didn't look to much for the "Golddiggers!"
And as we got off the airplane in Honolulu, it was great to be greeted by some lovely natives who helped me to get to know the "leis" of the land!
I heard that the Don Ho show was quite gross. Perhaps he would be under scrutiny with these days of increased awareness of sexual misconduct. But I wasn't there, just heard the rumor.
