THE PULLING OF BUILDING 7

When the Twin Towers fell on 9/11/01, a third building also collapsed.  Known as The Salomon Building, its address was 7 World Trade Center (Building 7).

Building 7 was not hit by an airplane nor was its collapse investigated by the 9/11 Commission.  FEMA reported that it had gone down as a result of fire and structural damage from debris from the collapse of the Twin Towers.  But the fires were small, limited to two floors, and never in the history of the planet had a steel building given way as a result of fire. 

Structural damage was reported to be minimal, but later reports said that the damage was greater than initially thought.  Again, we had a problem.  The building had fallen straight down onto its own foundation.  Structural damage would have caused the building to topple and only a controlled demolition would yield the results that were observed.

Larry Silverstein, the owner of Building 7, later said that he had received a phone call on that day and was told by the fire department that the building had to be pulled (demolished) to prevent further damage and loss of life.  If true , that statement puts the FEMA report into the trash can, but at least we can account for Building 7 being demolished in a controlled fashion.

Now the fire department was in no way qualified to demolish a steel building, so I figure that a team of demolition experts were called in to do the job.  Placement of explosives for a controlled demolition would have taken several days, even by the most proficient professionals, but some have theorized that steel cables attached to bulldozers could have been used to pull the supports from under the 47-story structure.  The demolition guys must have worked real fast because they got everything wrapped up within seven hours after the collapse of the Twin Towers.  Nobody has actually stepped forward and taken credit for this unprecedented demolition feat.

We don’t actually know who did it, and we’re not really sure how it was done, but people are going to believe what they want to believe.
