Ephesians Chapter 1 Verse 16-19

One day I went to go chew the fat with a chaplain friend of mine, Vin Vandestieg. While visiting hime he said, "Jim, I always hear you talking about wanting wisedom or knowledge. What good it this knowledge without the revelation? I want you to read Ephesians 1 Verses 16-19." (This talks about how you should always ask for the revelation to go along with the wisedom.) The next morning I am driving to work and I decide to listen to Chuck Swindol on a local Christian Radio Station. His message for the day was from, "Ephesians 1 Verses 16-19."  I told myself that I guess I should read it if I have already been told twice to do so. The day went by and I forgot to read the scripyure. The next morning I went to my Post Office Box to get my mail. In the Mail that day was letter from an Evangelist that I support. In his letter it said, "Jim, God told me to write to you and have you read from Ephesians 1 Verses 16-19." 

I got in my car and said, "Okay God, I get the message." I pulled my bible out of my glove box and read it.

Now I always ask for both wisedom and the revelation.

Knowledge without application is often wasted.
