Touch of a Little Girl
Story taken from the book"The Voices Within Us" by Jim Stewart

The names of the people in story were changed, as per their request.

It was a Saturday morning and Grandma was on life support. She she had just come back from having an x-ray of her chest. The doctor wanted to talk to Grandma's daughte; We'll call her Judy, "Your mother is really fading fast. There is not much more that we can do for her at this point other than make her comfortable.. We do not expect her to last the weekend. I suggest you call in the family and her pastor."

The doctor then asked Judy if she wanted to keep her mother on life support. With all this hanging over her head, Judy went home to get her four year old daughter; We'll call  her angel, and her husband; We'll call him Mike.Then she mad the necewssary phone calls, one was to the minister. The minister agreed to meet them there.

So, back to the hospital Judy went with her family. While Judy's family was in the room, the doctors and nurses took Grandma off the life support. Then the minister showed up. That's when little Angel went up to her Grandma and said, "Okay, Grandma, get up!You are going home with us today!"

When there was no response from the Grandmother, little Angel again said, "Get up Grandma, you're going home today!" The doctors and the nurses left the room. It was so emotional to see this little girl beg her grandmother to get up. After all, her grandmother was terminal and only had few moments to live.

Then the little girl went to work again. This time she took her grandmother by the hand and said, "Get up, Grandma. Jesus told me that you are going home with us today!" Then, like a miracle, Grandma woke up from her coma. She sat up on the side of the bed and started talking. The doctors and the nurses rushed back into the room. The doctor's said, "Ma'am, you need to lay down. You are very sick."

Grandma looked at them and said, "I feel just fine, young man." The doctors then took her back to the x-ray room for more x-rays. What they saw were normal x-rays. They could not understand it. Just a couple of hour before, her x-rays were terrible. Minute by minute Grandma was getting stronger. At 5:00pm that day, Grandma held her granddaughter's hand and walked out of the hospital.

Was the little girl visited by Jesus? It does not really matter-she beleives she was.

Doctor's can treat us but only God can heal us.
