Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Arms
FLASH! In a daring move the United States Supreme Court today ruled that U.S. residents may arm themselves only with weapons that accord with the words of the 2nd Amendment and with the conditions that prevailed when that amendment was written. It was a “strict constructionist” opinion relying on original intent that carried the day.
Legal scholars are in agreement that this opinion limits legal arms possession to single-shot muskets that take 4 minutes to load or reload.
In a side note the NRA and the right wing faction in Congress were observed patching drones, and missiles, and canister-laden machine guns into pictures of the Revolutionary War. They are also reported to be making ready a new bill that would allow history to be rewritten as often as they deem it necessary to bring their vision of the world and reality into agreement. Funding for such a bill is expected to exceed 50 percent of the federal budget, with employment positions for fiction writers exceeding 25 million.
