Sometimes life has a way of blindsiding you with overwhelming situations however, God's Word brings comfort and healing. Be encouraged as you read my testimony.
The Psalmist David wrote in the division of the Psalm 33 verse (9) “For He spoke, and it was done, He commanded, and it stood fast. Amplified Bible – which describes the creation account in Genesis chapter 1 where God’s Word is the controlling element of creation. In the Gospel of John chapter 1 shows the Word to be Jesus Christ, God’s Son. Yes, the writer of the book of Hebrews chapter 4 verse (12) says – For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thought and intents of the heart. It is important to understand there is nothing hidden that God is not aware of. There I stood in my kitchen and felt an unction to pray. Instantly before I could fetch the Bible, the Word of God flowed fluently from my belly with power and authority to open all the doors of my house while praying! The large gathering of birds that had gathered in the yard, and those which were hidden all fled in a hurry! The skies seemed to shake, and the glory of the LORD filled my house! Little did I know these prayers went ahead of what was about to hit my house. The next afternoon I stepped out of my house to complete a transaction upon returning, I felt shortness of breath – I asked Abba Father, why am I experiencing shortness of breath, and so suddenly? Chest pains persisted. Lying upon my bed in communion with Abba Father, He reminded me of His Word from Jeremiah chapter 1 verse (19) They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the Lord. No sooner had I gotten up from the bed, severe pains were hitting me. These pains were not like the pain I had had previously suffered; the pain was worse! The power of the spoken Word activated Divine Intervention; Abba Father’s presence permeated my being. Something miraculous happened, the pain intensified, it felt like something on the inside was going to burst but up came the Word from Psalm 14 verse (4) Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they eat bread and call not upon the LORD. “Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! I cried! There was a quick response, whatever was causing such terrible pain dissipated! There is not only power in the spoken Word but there is also power in the name of Jesus!
On Friday night shortness of breath persisted, the power of the spoken Word got me up to pray, and while walking the floor breathless. My focus shifted on worshipping and giving Abba Father thanks. His presence changes the entire atmosphere so much that, I did not realize day was breaking and I needed to get some sleep. What a testament! The second my body touched the bed, a violent cough erupted leaving my chest feeling like it was disintegrating. Jesus! Jesus! Jesus, I cried! Breathless again, the power of the spoken Word came forth! A fight ensued; shortness of breath increased but my faith was more stubborn! Activation of the Word kept my faith soaring higher as I stood on the spoken Word as I reminded Yahweh of His Word from Psalm 119 verse (89) Forever, O LORD, thy Word is settled in heaven. Abba Father in the name of Jesus, perform your Word! My prayer continued, Father, you promised me from the book of Jeremiah, that, you would not allow the enemy to prevail over me. In Jesus name, Father, manifest your Word in my life. The Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ showed up at my residence, along with Divine Intervention.
This Day, I stand in humble surrender to Yahweh, the God whom I made a vow at the age of seventeen to serve Abba Father until He calls me from this earth. The power of the spoken Word in prayer is summed up in the Words from Psalm 61 verse (8) So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows. Psalm 66 verse (13) I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows. Verse (14) Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble. Communion with Abba Father kept on flowing! Abba Father in the name of Jesus, impart your strength, wisdom, and Favour to serve you in spirit and in truth all the days of my life is my vow unto you, and to live a consecrated life of fasting and prayer and devotion to you O LORD, that your Word would manifest in this earth realm through prayer!
