Worry means to be uncertain about something.  For example:

• We are about losing our job,
• About our health,
• About our finances,
• About our relationships, and so on . . .

Worry is the uncertainly of a multitude of things.  We need to realize that we have no control over most of the things we are uncertain about. 

We can control our thoughts however.  So, let us simply decide to stop thoughts which result in "worry" dead on its track !  I know it may be easier said than done.  Give it a try anyway.

Let me share with you the remedy I found: I could have probably found it in the books of Chopra or Confucius or Napoleon Hill, or other books, but these verses I found in the Book of Information Before Leaving Earth, aka the Bible.

"I (Jesus) am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing."   (John 15:5).

"you can do nothing". - this is diffult to take.  When we were a baby, we had to rely on others.  But as we grew up, we had to look after ourselves.  Some who have become successful claim that they are a "self-made person".  In realiability however, there is no such creature. 

Even the air we breath is suplied by Him.  Also the ability to inhale the free air was given by Him.  So, honestly, I have to admit that I can do nothing without Him.  Are you ready to admit that?  Give it some thought.

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.   (John 15:7).

I have asked for things and I have received it over time.  Try it and observe.
