It was a cold January morning where the frost spread across the window pane in beautiful fernlike patterns when Laura Jolie woke up suddenly to the sound of her apartment door bell. She whiped out of bed in a flash and wondered who was at the door at six am!
As she opened the door she was stunned to find a delivery man holding in his hands a huge clear box of two dozen white roses. "Delivery for Laura Jolie." Laura couldn't help but stare. "uh...I..I think you got the wrong adress." The man frowned and checked his clipboard. "nope, this is your adress. Here." the he passed the box to Laura. "now please sign here." Laura still shocked manage to take the pen in her hand and write her name. "Good day mam." with that said the man turned around and left. Laura frowned and looked at the rosesthen closed the door.
she made her way to the kitchen and smiled. 'i know! it's Alex, he's so thoughtful.' Laura grabbed her cell and called her boyfriend.

You did send those flower right?" "No i didn't, maybe it's your mom?" "No i don't think so." "Well call the flower shop and ask who sent those flowers." She nodded "Good idea... sorry for waking you up this early." "it's ok alright bye i love you." "Love you to bye." She hung up the phone and looked at the box for a tag with the florists number on it. After awhile of searching she found it. 'alright i'll call her and get this over with...
