then my middle child (Cheyenne) four years later, after one miscarriage and then my son the following year in 2004.
I never imagined that motherhood would go the way it did for me personally, but I wouldn’t change any of the events that took place because it has ultimately led us to where we are today and for that I am extremely grateful!
When Tabitha was born, I remembered being so afraid of being left alone with her for the first two weeks of her life, not because I was suffering from P.P.D or anything like that but, because I knew that this tiny little life depended on me to keep her safe and healthy, at the age of 20 I was young and very inexperienced as far as life goes. I grew up helping my mom raise my siblings and I knew the basics, but was so afraid that I wouldn’t be good enough.
Soon after our lives together began, I became very protective in an over-bearing kind of way, to the point that if I didn’t get a good vibe from a person, they weren’t and still ARE NOT allowed to be around my children!
When Tabitha turned 2, there were certain events that took place with her, and my two youngest that would become the glue to the connection my children and I share.
I can honestly say that I will go to any extent without hesitation to protect my children and there is nothing that will stand in the way of that!
We share a unique connection that I feel all parents should have with their children and all it takes just paying attention and going the extra mile. Don’t do merely what is required of you, your children are people, although little ones, they are still people with their own unique personalities!
Children are not brought into this world to just learn from us, they are here to also teach us and to offer a view of the world through a child’s eyes, something we lose touch with as we are too busy growing up.
If all the world looked at the world through a child’s eyes, we would find true peace and unconditional love.
In the book “They Call Me MamaBear” you will read about our special journey together.

What I would like to see happen with this book.
I don’t know if this happens to other Authors but, when I’m writing, I also get different ideas on how to use the book I am writing to benefit not just myself, I want it to be beneficial to those who read it as well and sometimes, I get snagged on an idea that won’t stop whispering in my ear.
With “They Call Me MamaBear” I would love to share the entire of being a mom, from the moment my 14 year old daughter was born until now. But, I know that with the stories of moms and grandmothers all over the world, could you imagine the amount of inspiration, love and history they have to share? as much as I would love to share ALL of them, I would love to share even a few for both moms and grandmothers because without them, we wouldn’t be able to pass those stories and love down to our own children.
Anyone, who would like to share a story and have it featured in “They Call Me MamaBear” can submit a story to my email aroyse30.gmail.com.
All stories received will remain as they were when submitted aside from grammar check.
Please refrain from cursing or foul language as those stories will not be accepted for publishing.
This is a special dedication to my mom, my children and my grandmothers from generations past. And, I would like it to be the same for those who are willing to allow me to share their stories for them!
I would like the book to be published BEFORE Mother’s Day so that we may gift our mothers and grandmothers with this special gift of appreciation.
After sending an email please allow 24 hours to receive a response.
Thank you in advance to all of you who take your time to share a story.. You aren’t just sharing a story, you are sharing a very special piece of you, of unconditional love and inspiration. You have no idea how much I and others appreciate that! Someone out there may need to read your story and find a little piece of hope or faith.
This is your journey! Own it! ~<3~
All of my love.
