A friend of mine died recently. He was a great loss to our community. He helped homeless, gave to the poor and inspired many to have better lives. However, there was almost nothing written about the life he left behind. I even tried a Goggle search and there was nothing. His memorial service was pretty standard and average. He deserved so much moreand so did all the people who came to hear about this great man. He forgot to leave his friends and family stories about his success in life and how he became so loved and revered. I gave my mother a list of questions from a book to answer so she can tell all her family about her life. That book is a treasure with has inspired our whole family. So it's so important to write down precious thoughts and memories now before leaving planet earth. Amen X 110!

How would you describe your personality? Cheerful, determined, intentional, and friendly.
What is one question you would like to ask God in person? How were you created?
What do you think is the purpose of the Bible? God’s Love letter to guide his children
If there is one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be and why? Being short-sighted and impatient at times. Positive thinking is better!
Is prayer important to you? Why or why not?Prayer heals the body and soul. Prayer is God’s telephone and lifeline to reach His children. !
Who is one person you would like to go back to history to interview? Why? Jesus, to seek His wisdom and learn about His fruits.
What kind of things do you tend to worry about or get anxious about?Health issues and leaving the planet before I fulfill my Godly purpose(s) on earth.
Who are your role models and why? Pastor Ralph Rosario and Pastor John Ortiz, I love their testimony, and I love their honest, down-to-earth teaching. They have a tough past and have overcome some very difficult hurdles in life and have come out winners.
Is there a biblical character you identify with and why? Paul, he used to be Saul. I never killed people like Saul did, but I probably hurt many in my younger years. I love the transformation Paul experienced. I had a much milder transformation, but his life is a living testimony that no matter what your past, God will forgive, forget, and lift you up to a place you would otherwise never be able to achieve.
How would you describe good leadership?I admire all the traits and the Christian character of St. Paul. He was Saul when he was young and hw was a very hateful and violent person. After he decided to follow Jersus Christ his life changed. He went on to become one of the most admiored and beloved persons in the Bible. He became very humble and went on to write about aone third of the New Testiment. His was a great man to follow and his life was indeed a miracle.
What is your biggest fear? Not make it to Heaven.
If you’re feeling down, what cheers you up? A positive word from the Bible, a positive Christian song, a few positive words from my wife or a good friend.
Do you think you’re a patient person? Why or why not?Yes, but up to a point. I think I have more patience when I have a good day. But if I had a bad day and I am tired, my patience can run thin. I am usually at my best after a good Bible study or after a good time out with my wife and our friends.
How does it feel to not have what you want when you want it?It is good for the soul! In life, we may have to work hard to achieve the desires of our hearts. If we are handed down everything we want when we are children, then we will expect the same when we become adults. Too often, disappointment and sadness results in a fantasy world growing up. Is it easy for you to work towards a goal, or do you get frustrated and quit quickly?
When it comes to goals, I love the saying, “Inch by inch, life in a cinch. Yard by yard, life is hard.” We can achieve almost anything if we take it in small doses.

I am an existential atheist. My life is only the mark I made while living. And it is only what I have written and posted on the Internet that will probably be remembered.
Like you, I have looked up some of my mentors from the past, and although they were very accomplished people with national or even international recognition, there is no mention of them, except, perhaps, an obituary.
That was true of the inspiration I got from my qualitative analysis instructor in my sophomore year of college. I used him as the model character for my novel, The Last Wanderer. But, because of my disability and aging, couldn't remember his name until I finally had a caregiver retrieve the 1966 yearbook and learned what it was.
The novel was published in 2021 and is my most successful novel to date. He died this year in February and the only thing on the Internet about his extraordinary life was his obituary. But I was able to call his son and talk to his wife just two weeks ago. I missed my opportunity to ask him whether he remembered me as his best student in 1962. Wishing to have traveled with him the following summer into the wilds of Canada where he always went.
