I desperately want to do this for him. My knees are sticking up, I pray my legs won't cramp.
A panic attack is threatening to surface and overtake my nerves and heart beat.
I know without a doubt I might...I might...I might...I might....
Then we're off and I'm around the bend and over the hump and starting to feel relaxed until this little twerp passes me and almost cuts me off and I'm ticked.
But I keep to my snail's pace and let all of them pass me...I'm not in a race.
Panic returns when the ride is over...will I be able to get out of the blasted thing without the aid of a crane? 13 year old sonny boy smiles at his older mother for having the guts to ride a go-kart and I hop--well maybe more like a mature leap-- out of the lowriding contraption without embarrassing the both of us.
Can't wait to go again.
How do we get "Driven" into these situations? This reminds me of a visit up North to a snowy field and two sixteen year old boys and their snowmobile...They took me on a ride for my life and probably, to this day...still laugh about it!

great job, but has never rode a go-kart!
must of been fun.
Oh, this was wonderful! Our youngest son loves the rides, most the roller-coaster and his mom will NOT EVER get in with him, but the go-kart, well... maybe better not... We really enjoyed this one!

Love it! You wouldn't get me on one of those things ever! You are one brave lady. Very proud of you. My son, the NAFOD*, goes zipping around corners at 90 miles an hour and somehow manages to stay upright.

I am 57 and the first time I ever rode a go-cart was last year with my granddaughter. It reminded me of driving on the interstate. I would do it again and I bet you would, too. I thought, at first, you were talking about driving your car, but I bet you wanted us to think that. DIDN'T YOU? A good one, Lynn.
