I am Alocki of Zatoris, full professor at the Throop Institute in Pasadena, and a good friend of Fifi's, whom you are all familiar with. I am originally from the planet Zatoris which orbits the nearest star system to your Sun, Alpha Cenatauti. Alpha Centauri is a triple star system consisting of Alpha Centauri A, Alpha Centauri B, and Proxima Centauri.
My planet orbits Alpha Centauri A and is approximately the same distance as your Earth is from your Sun. My planet is approximately 3/4 as large as your earth. My solar syatem has only three rocky planets and Zatoris is the only capable of supporting life similar to your earth.
The atmospheric and geological conditions between Zatoris and Earth are strikingly similar. We have 2 large land masses surrounded by a large ocean. The flora and fauna is also similar to Earth. Perhaps on Zatoris we have more deciduos woodland country and fewer jungles and deserts. Animal and plant life is also very similar and we followed a similar evolutionary pattern as life on Earth did.
We have insects (on Zatoris we have dragonflies that are a foot long, similar to the large insects you had in the past on Earth), fish, birds, and similar mammals. (We have apes that are much large than your gorillas, perhaps similar to your mythical Yeti.)
