where the plushness of love mirrors
all that everyday commands
awakening the mystic song birds
near whispery oceanic sands
may I gather you a rose blossom
or the trumpets of a new daffodil
caught near the climbing moon ivy
over the grassy sought clover hill
oh sweetest, sweetest nectar
my lovely honey bee
our dragon fly messages
are wrote for all to see
as we drink from falling water creeks
delighting in fragrant zephyrous imbue
whisper to me your trilling dalliances
thirsting in your sweetest plucked clue

Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. I have heard others recite their own poetry, and for the most part I would have left the room if I could have in a discrete way. Not so this, Vickie. Your voice resounded with the fervor that the lines of your wonderful poem expected of it. I so loved your subtle accent, it almost caused me to cry out . . . "Yes! Yes! Yes!"
