She may not look like much--small for age, thin, wearing leg braces on her legs, and using crutches in order to get around easier--, but Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux is a child who has managed to overcome adversity and challenges in a very amazing way.
She is nearing eleven years of age now, and she is just now starting to enter puberty. She is at a crossroads in her life: part of her can't wait to grow up, and yet, another part of her wants to remain a little girl. She is very mercurial in nature, and she is very quick to change moods: one minute, she is laughing and is happy, and the next, she is worried about something or angry and frustrated.
She has been through many health scares as a child, and some of them she shouldn't have survived; but God saw to it that she would, and now she is striving to become a young singer and is taking the message of God's Love and Healing Grace to people across the south and across the country. She has been through so much in her life, and she refuses to let her present (or past) health scares get to her. She is bound and determined to make the best out of her life, and she wants to overcome any challenges that may come her way.
Ronee' knows all too well of the love and joy in knowing her Lord and Saviour, and she knows that He is always there for her, no matter what she may encounter, and He has helped her through some of the most trying times in her life. He has healed her from serious illness, and so she knows just what being healed means, and she is very grateful for all the blessings that He has bestowed on her. She is very happy to be alive, and she is equally so to be a Christian and a witness to Him. She loves her Lord and Saviour very much, and this is evident whenever people see her, whether she is singing at church or on stage someplace, or with her family and friends. She always has a smile on her face, and she has a very positive attitude about life and what it offers, even when things are NOT going well for her. She knows that she will get through whatever problem that may arise, and she is determined not to let her faith in God slip.
People are always amazed at what this young lady has accomplished in her nearly 11 years, and they are always glad to hear of someone making the best out of a bad situation (or SITUATIONS). She is bound to become a big star in music one day, and from the way things have been going for her so far, it looks like she just may attain that dream, thanks to the help of a Loving Saviour and a caring network of family and friends.
