A young girl writes of her faith in her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and why He has been so good to her.
I am covered by the Blood, the Blood of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He died on a Cross for my sins, and according to the Bible, He died brutally and horribly; He went through HELL to save people like me from sin and the wages of death. Because of this, and because I made the decision to accept Him into my life, I am NOW saved; and this is because He CHOSE to die on a Cross to save me.
I accepted Jesus into my life when I was seven years old, and ever since then, my life has had a lot more purpose and meaning for me. I am now happier than I have been in a very long time, and I have had many blessings unfold in my life, things that I couldn't have expected. Like my singing, for example. I have been blessed with an ability to sing, and I have been able to sing for many people across the south, and I have had the honor of sharing the stage with some of my very favorite entertainers in country music. I also have had the opportunity to share my testimony and tell people about Jesus Christ and what He has done for me and my life.
At the age of nine, I got the Gift of Tongues, and I was also baptized in the Holy Spirit, which I think makes me a more effective witness to Christ and His Power; and I also have since received my baptism in the Assembly of God church and am now a member of Christ Community Assembly of God Church, which is the church I go to every week. I have seen the evidence of Jesus Christ in my own life, and I can't help but be amazed at all that He has done for me--or WILL do in the future.
Because of my accepting Jesus into my life, I am now assured a place in Heaven, and I now no longer have to worry about going to hell and die a horrible, painful death and then suffer in the fiery pits of hell. I am now protected by the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ, and I will now be with Him, in Glory; and I will also be a New Creature once I DO go to Heaven and get my wings. I will also get a Healing, and when I get to Heaven, all this stuff with my health that I now experience here on earth--the pain and arthritis, the crutches and leg braces, my asthma and allergies, that stuff--will now be GONE, forever, and I will then be able to run around in Heaven, like a cheetah, and I will NO longer have to worry about all my health problems! I will be HEALED, completely healed, and I will be a NORMAL little girl again! Oh, that is SOOOO exciting to think about! (Oh, I MAY get healed yet here on Earth before Jesus DOES come back, but if not, that is okay; I STILL have a Healing coming to me, and I am REALLY looking forward to THAT!)
Jesus also gave me a Gift for writing, and I am now working on my first book. I am writing my autobiography (the title of the book is going to be "People Say No, But God Says Yes!: My Story of Hope And Healing" By Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux), and I also am writing my book for kids with different disabilities because too many people do NOT know what it is like to live WITH disabilities--they THINK they know, but they do NOT unless THEY become disabled themselves or know someone who is disabled--, and I want these people to know that NO MATTER what life may throw at them or what problems they may face, they CAN overcome their problems, and they CAN do things if they are given the opportunity, and NO problem is TOO BIG or TOO COMPLICATED for God to handle! God has handled MY problems, and I overcame some of the worst things I have ever gone through as a kid--my stroke, having to put up with chronic pain or allergies/breathing problems, frequent hospitalizations or trips to the Emergency Room, or my appendix bursting when I was six; I nearly DIED!--; and if I can get through things like the above, then other kids can too if God sees to it! And I figure that God MUST want me for something; otherwise, I wouldn't be here, working on a book or writing this down to you now!
Sometimes life CAN get rather complicated or tough for me to handle, but I have a way to deal with it, and that way is Jesus Christ. He allows me to go through things, and as long as I can rely on Him and call on Him when things get sticky, then I KNOW that I will make it! He hasn't let me down SO far, and I am NOT about to let Satan get a hold of me and try to bog me down! I am NOT giving up on my faith in my Lord and Saviour, and if Satan thinks that I am, well, he's got another thing coming because if I EVER need help, I can ALWAYS call on Jesus to bail me out! And He ALWAYS does!
As long as I have breath in my body and have Jesus in my life, I will continue to tell others about Him and why they need Jesus in their own lives and tell them my story; I have a mission to do, and that is to tell people--in particularly kids--that God IS real, that He IS there to help you in your time of trouble or need, and that He will NEVER, EVER forsake you or abandon you! No matter WHAT you may face in life, God IS always there, and He is READY to help you if you just call on Him and ask for His Assistance! And even if you DO have problems or live with things like disability or despair, you STILL can do a lot for yourself and in your life if you just learn to accept what life has handed you and look at all the blessings that God has given you! Don't focus on the negative; just look to see the beauty of the world and learn to appreciate all the blessings that God has ALREADY given you!

Karen, a beautiful testimony and tribute to Our Savior God! Our top priorty is to spread Gods word and pray for all to see His goodness, mercy,and salvation by grace! You are doing that and will be mightily blessed in eternity! I always say, I may be like stoneware here, but I'll be fine china in heaven!;-)
In "A Touch of Your Presence" are words that would inspire, encourage and strengthen one's soul when faced with challenges and difficulties and to know the awesomeness of God's power.
