Johnny continues with his testimony, just as his sister, Ronee', did earlier. He also shares some very exciting news: he and his parents (as well as his sister, Ronee') are going on a cruise to Alaska for two weeks. He just found out about it, and he is thrilled beyond words.
Earlier, I told you my about my testimony, about how grateful I am to have a family who loves and cares for me when I am sick, about how God has blessed my life, even with having to live with a serious illness that is threatening to take my life in just a few years (or less), or having to learn to live with disabilities affecting my vision, my hearing, and my ability to learn. I also mentioned just how God has blessed me, and how lucky I have been to have seen things I otherwise never would have done, or about people I have met..famous people, at that! I also mentioned of my being a Christian and because of it, I am going to get to go to Heaven and be with Jesus and turn into an angel!
Well, God has blessed me yet again. In fact, he not only blessed ME, but He also blessed mom, dad, AND Ronee' in a VERY BIG way!! I just found out that next Thursday, my mom, dad, and my sister, Ronee' (as well as myself!) are going to ~ALASKA~! We are going on a cruise (we are going on a HUGE ship, and we are going on the Disney Cruise!) for two weeks, and right now I am so excited, I don't know what to do with myself! We will be flying from Nashville on Thursday of next week to San Francisco, California; and from there, we will board the Disney Cruise ship, and we will then be on the boat and sail towards Alaska!! I will be able to see the Northern Lights (I CAN see objects if they are bright enough!), and I will be able to go to somewhere I have never been! Mom has had this idea for a while now, but it was only yesterday evening when she told both Ronee' and myself about it! Ronee' screamed like a fire engine (and about broke my darn hearing aids! Oh, how they SQUEALED! I was ready to KILL Ronee'!), and I was like "YES!" So now I have something exciting to look forward to!
And get this: while we are in Alaska, we are going to see Michael Doucet (NOT Michael Doucet of "BeauSoleil", the Cajun music band, but a different Michael Doucet! LOL) and his fiancee', Jenna, whom mom has told us so much about! Jenna was a lady mom took care of in the hospital. She was in a car wreck before Thanksgiving (she was on her way to Louisiana to do a little gambling and to see her then-boyfriend, Michael, and while driving through Nashville, she was in a car wreck, and she was badly hurt; she spent nearly five months in the hospital; she just got out!), and mom said that she is very nice; but she is deaf. She was born that way, but she can read lips very well, and can communicate. She doesn't sign all that much because she is embarrassed about "looking handicapped", so she mostly writes what she has to say on paper! (She has TONS of paper! LOL)
Both Jenna and Michael are excited about us coming to Alaska, and when we are in Anchorage (where they live; they just moved there), we will be staying with them! They are going to take us sightseeing and we are also going to see the Northern Lights! I am really happy about this; I will FINALLY get to see the Northern Lights!!
ANYWAY, back to my testimony...God has still been blessing me, as you can see. He is always there for me, and He has never disappointed me yet! Even when I am having problems and feel that He isn't there, He IS, and He will NEVER, EVER leave me! He loves me too much, and I am a very lucky little boy because I know about Him, and I also have Jesus in my life, and now, when I get to Heaven, I will be an ANGEL, and I will NO LONGER have muscular dystrophy! I will be HEALED of all my problems I had here on Earth, and I will be able to walk, jump, hop, and even RUN like a CHEETAH! I will also be able to see AND hear, and I will be able to talk WITHOUT stuttering! Boy, is THAT something I am really looking forward to!!
I don't know what I will be doing before I get worse and die, but I DO know this: as long as I am able, I am going to tell others about how God has been good to me, and I am also going to tell people about how He has blessed me; and I am also going to enjoy life while I still can and am able to!!
I may write a book like Ronee' is, but I don't know about that. I am not NEARLY as smart as she is, and I am afraid she will have to help me if I DO decide to do that! LOL Or I may become an encourager and help people through their problems and let them realize that no matter what they face in life, they CAN overcome their problems or fears as long as they focus on God! I have done that, and they can do it too, and I am going to teach them how to do that!!
Well, I am going to go; I am going to tell my friends about ALASKA!! BOY, am I really STOKED about THAT!! Look out, Alaska, and look out, Northern Lights: here I come!! So BE WARNED!! LOL You may NOT be the same once I, Johnny Sandusky, comes to town! LOL
