Dear Kendra!
Thanks for your writing me again; we got your email, and judging from the excitement enamating from your letter, it appears that things are quickly happening, and pretty soon, it will not be long before little Abayomi Chipo (Soon to be Anna Grace!) will be with you! Now it is days; soon it will be hours, then minutes, then SECONDS! And Anna will be in America, and she will be YOURS!! I can only imagine just how excited you all must be; what a wonderful event!! I know how it is to wait for a child to join the family; heck, it almost feels like you are pregnant, doesn't it?? It is almost akin to one having a BABY! LOL
Glad you are feeling better, and glad you aren't having as many headaches! I bet that is a huge relief, knowing you have your hands full of little ones to take care of! I bet the little ones are great little helpers, and I bet that you are proud of each and every one of them! I would be if I were you; they seem like such nice and considerate young ladies! We have been lifting you up in prayer, and considering all the people praying for you, you should do VERY well, and so should your girls!
Glad to know you like country music! Of course, we would be more than HAPPY to take y'all to the Grand Ole Opry! The Grand Ole Opry is a place where country music history was made..and still continues to BE made!.., and you never know whom you might see while at the Opry! You can see anyone from Loretta Lynn to Garth Brooks, or people like Gene Simmons from KISS, or even actors and actresses! Or even PRESIDENTS!! It is always exciting to go to the Opry, and since our one daughter, Ronee', HAS sung at the Opry, we can get you prime tickets and even ALL ACCESS PASSES with little or NO problem! Maybe when you DO come to Nashville, we can take you to the Opry, and we can show you places where most country fans can't go! We also can have y'all stand on the very spot where country legends like Hank Williams, Sr., Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, and Loretta Lynn (and even NON country folk, like Elvis!!) have stood and sang their greatest hits, and y'all can also stand on the very spot where future stars have stood at one time or another! Even Ronee' has stood on that very spot, and when one DOES stand on that spot, you SWEAR you can hear or FEEL their presence, meaning the ghosts of country stars who have gone to join Heaven's Choir! It is an awesome experience, and it can really blow one's mind if you think about it! And you can tell your friends back home in Soulsbysville that you have stood on the same stage as Elvis, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Hank, Sr., and even future superstars to be (including Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux!! LOL)! There is always new people appearing at the Opry, and MOST of the time, they are very well received! Wouldn't THAT be something to tell your friends back home! We can even take your picture of y'all standing on stage of the Grand Ole Opry! Maybe we can have you pose with instruments, and that way, y'all would look like a real honest to goodness country music megaband! LOL ("Alabama", WATCH OUT!! The Williams Family Band is out to steal your thunder!! LOL)
Kendra, while I am thinking off the top of my head here, I was wondering what kind of books or movies you and your girls like. The reason I ask this is because I have a TON of books and videos that our kids have outgrown or don't use anymore; and we are runnin' out of room! HELLLLPPP! LOL The movies and books are all in good shape; you don't need to worry about that! If there is ONE thing we have taught the kids, it is to treat their property with respect, and we teach them that they need to treat their possessions as though they were their friends; and they wouldn't treat their friends badly; so they shouldn't treat their toys, books, games, or whatnot badly either! Besides, with a family of OUR size, we CAN'T afford to be buying new stuff every time we turn our backs; we'd be broke before you can say the word "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" LOL (WHEW! Think I HURT myself...LOL)
I don't know if Lightning will be at the picnic this August; we will have to talk to her about this soon. She has four kids, all under the age of six, and being disabled, well, she is very busy, and she can't always get away as much as she would like. But if she ever has a problem, her husband, Darnell, or her neighbors, can always give her a helping hand! I also will have to talk to Dwerlina, who is attending college at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana, and see if SHE can make it too! HOPEFULLY both girls can, and that way you can meet the WHOLE gang! LOL (And we ARE a gang! LOL No, we are MORE than that...we are a whole VILLAGE! LOL) I will be getting back to you, regarding the answer from my daughters and seeing if they will be able to attend the AASK picnic! They shouldn't have any problems; they have attended in the past, but it has been at least three years since Lightning has last done so! MAYBE this year she can; one can only hope!! (And I can meet my newest grandson and spoil him ROTTEN! LOL)
Well, Kendra (gee, I ALMOST called you ANNA! LOL Guess my medicine is givin' me medicine head again; I HATE it when my head gets all fuzzy!!), I must go; Bill and the kids are chomping at the bit as they are very hungry (plus I can hear Johnny's tummy just a rumblin' away; it sounds like a THUNDERSTORM is going on in there! LOL), so I have to feed 'em before they turn into RAVING MONSTERS! And I DON'T think I can handle THAT, especially THREE of them!! LOL I will write soon; I will probably write you before Saturday, "ANNA GRACE DAY", so be expecting another letter from me sometime BEFORE then! Until you hear from me (or I hear from YOU, whoever comes first!), take care of yourself and the girls, and give them ALL (((HUGS))) from us here in Alaska! Tell them if they are good we may get 'em a little surprise from Alaska; I know they would probably like THAT! Maybe I will spring for something for YOU, too! Love you LOTS, Kendra!!
