The story has a sad ending. Little Kyle Filip Hendree, aged 3, drownded, much to the shock and dismay of his family, who were almost certain that he would be found alive.

There will be periodic updates from Ray and Julie, Kyle's parents, to let us know how they are faring, so this story isn't completely over, not just yet.
I can't believe it, but sadly, the news is true . I wish I could report that our story has a happy ending, but alas..it does not.

Our little boy, Kyle Filip, was found today, but the news wasn't good. In fact, it was the worst news imaginable, a family's worst nightmare. He was found by a firefighter just up the road from us, his body floating in a puddle of water. He was dead. He had apparently drownded when he slipped, and he couldn't get back up due to the rushing waters.

The police just informed us about Kyle, and we are all in a daze, and we are shattered at the news. We were hoping that he would be found alive, but he wasn't, and now we have to accept and come to terms with the unexpected death of our little boy. Julie, my wife, has been crying nonstop, and I have been on the verge of tears myself. The girls have been crying too, especially Kylie, who was especially close to her little brother. Although Kylie and Kyle were five years apart in age, the two of them wree inseperable, and they got along famously. Now, Tabby, the older girl, had her problems with him (mostly with his insatiable curiosity and his forever getting into her things), but she still loved him; you could tell, especially if he was sick.

The entire neighborhood is in a sense of shock and disbelief about the news of Kyle being found dead, and they have been coming over to our house, offering their sympathies for our sudden loss, and asking if we needed anything while we try to make funeral arrangements for our youngest child. We appreciate all the compassion and generosity we have been shown by our neighbors and friends, but their compassion and love isn't going to bring our little guy back, and we are now faced with the worst news of our lives. The phone has been ringing nonstop, and we are all mentally, physically, and emotionally spent. We wish that this nightmare would end, but it won't for a very long time to come.

Now little Kyle is in Heavan, and he is with Jesus, and we are going to have to accept the fact that he will never grace our lives again. He is now at peace, and he died doing something he loved. He is now a little angel, and we are all the more sadder (and poorer) because of his death. He truly was a special little boy, and we will miss his laughter, his huge bearhugs, and his zany antics. He was a good little boy, and he enriched our lives tenfold.
