Just A Little Love is the title. It is the story of a writer, a man who finds he must steal his own child to keep her. I wrote this book in 1996, to my closest recollection. I wanted it to have the feel of a true life story. It involves celebrities and the turmoil their lives somehow ensue. From the papparazzi being intrusive to the way fame and fortune can go to someone's head, I tried to show it as real as possible. There are shallow people in this story. They crave and desire only the best life has to offer while kicking aside things that are not pleasurable to them. I wanted to teach a lesson in this book also. The lesson is that we can not all be "beautiful people". But those who are not so attractive want to be loved just as much. The character of Autumn Douglas is this kind of person...not attractive, but good down to the depths of her soul. And the writer, Dustin MacKenna, very rapidly discovers this. I do hope the book is enjoyed by those who choose to read it. I enjoyed writing it very much. And it takes place in one of the most beautiful states on earth, Alaska. I hope I did it justice.
