Ronee' wanted to write about her mother, who is sick in bed with a combination migraine headache and sinus infection. She feels bad for her. She also wanted to write of some plans that she and her family may be doing for a few hours, and she is excited at the prospect of maybe going out to eat, or to the mall, a movie, or even bowling.
My poor little maman is sick in bed today, and because of it, we kids have to be as quiet as possible (like little church mice, perhaps), so she can get as much rest as possible. My maman has a really bad sinus infection coupled with a migraine headache, and she feels awful, to put it mildly.
So I will probably spend my time writing on my laptop. I can't go outside because it is raining outside, and besides, my arthritic little body is hurting too much for me to run around and act wild. My arthritis is DEFINITELY making its presence known today; I wish it'd go away and leave me the HECK alone!! OWIE!! So, like my sick mama, I too, shall take it easy, and I shall find ways to try to amuse myself before I end up dying from sheer boredom! LOL
The other kids have been quiet, too, and it is as though nobody is home because the house is silent, really silent. That is a rarity in our family because our family is so big, and you know how noisy kids can get at times! Maybe if we are good, daddy said, he would take us to the mall for a few hours and let us get some school supplies, seeing they are going on sale for a few weeks. Good. I can use new pencils and pens, a new ruler (my last one broke; I sat on it!), new shoes, new clothes, and especially PAPER! I go through paper like WATER; I am ALWAYS doing something on paper, be it drawing, writing, or making origami-type stuff! LOL Maybe, just maybe, daddy'll take us out to eat at Olive Garden, like he did last time! YUMMERS! I LOVE the Olive Garden; I especially love their spaghetti with meatballs, and their lasagna is to DIE for! WOW! (Too bad Steffi can't come with us; she had to be at work at 7 this morning, and so she isn't home now. She will get off her job at the Golden Corral at 2.) Maybe we could go to the Corral, but I kinda' doubt that because we'll be there tomorrow; we go there every Sunday before church, for breakfast; and we are there as soon as the doors open! LOL Or maybe, just maybe, he'll take us bowling or to a movie, perhaps! That would give maman a chance to get her rest! (We could see "Shrek 2" again; that is one funny movie! I saw it earlier this year, when it first came out, and I laughed myself silly! It was good! Speaking of "Shrek", I have the first one, and it is one of my favorites to watch! I have a whole ton of movies: you name it, and I have it. I have movies like "Brother Bear", "Prince of Egypt", "Tarzan", "Pocahontas", "Toy Story"--1 and 2--, "Monsters, Inc.", "A Bug's Life", "Home On The Range", "The Three Muskateers" with Donald Duck, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and Goofy, "Ice Age", "Babe", "Babe 2: Pig In The City", "Stuart Little"--1 and 2--, "Curly Sue", "Coal Miner's Daughter"--I have only seen that movie like, a million and a half times, maybe two million! LOL--, and so much more!)
I hope daddy does take us kids out because just thinking of eating at the Olive Garden has my stomach growling like a little polar bear, and I am looking forward to going to the mall and spending some of my birthday money that I have left! I also am looking forward to the movie, and maybe we could even talk daddy into going bowling! LOL Anything to get us out of mama's hair while she is sick! She needs her rest! And we need to get out of her hair, so she doesn't kill us! (She won't really, but she will probably get reallllly annoyed if we make too much of a racket! LOL) Guess that won't mean baked beans or hot dogs for lunch; as we will eat some REAL food! LOL
Whoops! Mama is calling; she wants the waste can again. Think she may go urpsie again; she's been doing that yesterday, and she feels like she has to do it again. NOT good. I hate throwing up myself; it is NOT fun! I'd better get the can to her before she makes a mess and before I go urpsie myself! LOL So I gotta' run; I will write more later! C-ya!
Now WHERE did I put my crutches? I can't get to her very far if I don't have my sticks! Bye again!
~Luv, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux, R.N. (I am the nurse today; the REAL nurse of the family is sick! See, even nurses get sick! Poor, poor mama!) :(
P.S.: Since today is so boring and so grey and ugly out, I wanted to liven up my entry into my computer journal by putting in a bright picture of yellow "Pikachu" of "Poke'man." Isn't he cute? I may not like "Poke'man" all that much, but I DO like "Pikachu"! :)

Hi Karen
I read this and my heart went out to this child, who seens wise beyond her years.
Children suffer and it's sad...adults suffer and its sad..but they know what and why...sometimes children don't understand suffering like your little girl seems to.
God bless you for reminding that suffering is still around and doing fine...and those that are not bothered by suffering...he will visit everyone...oneday.
love to you...God bless
Norma (softheart)
