Louisiana is delighted to hear from her friend in California whom she finally got to meet after the Williams family came to Tennessee for a picnic for adoptive families. She is happy to know that they got back safe and sound.

Dear Kendra:
Here beginith a new month, and I am now writing a response to your lovely email by computer! You don't know how relieved I am to know that you finally got back home to California safe and sound; what a huge load lifted off my mind! LOL
You don't know how delighted I was to have met you and your beautiful rainbow family of daughters! What beautiful children you have! I hope my kids didn't drive yours crazy; I know that little Anna Grace must have driven my daughter Ronee' crazy with her constant tagging along behind her! But Ronee' took it all in good stride, and she said on the way home that she really enjoyed playing with Anna Grace; it is just too bad she couldn't run around more, due to her broken wrist and her arm being in a cast and all. Still, Ronee' is hanging in there, and she is already counting the days to where she can finally get the cast taken off! (She has three weeks to go; it was three weeks ago today, in fact, when she broke her arm. As you can see, she is doing much better!)
So Anna Grace is taken with Ronee', and Ronee' is all that she talks about. How cute. Ronee' will be happy to know that Anna likes her, and I know that she likes Anna Grace, too! What a sweet little child she is! She sure is a talker; no wonder the two little girls got along so well! LOL
My other children enjoyed meeting you too, and you caught them on a good day. Sometimes they are bouncing off the walls and each other; I will be glad when school starts back up next week! (Our schools start back up in only six days!) Then finally I can get some serious cleaning in, and I can get some well deserved rest on my days off from work (Friday); Saturday and Sunday I won't be able to because the kids will be home, and of course, Sunday we are involved with church and all.
Now you know what a true "superfamily" looks like. LOL Pretty amazing sight, huh? I can only imagine people's looks on their faces when they see a couple in their 30's being followed by a seemingly endless stream of children, children of all ages, sizes, colors, and disabilities! More often than not, people think that my husband and I are teachers, and we are leading a group of schoolkids on a trip or we are some church group, but when we tell them that we are one family, half of the time they don't believe us! This is one of the reasons I wrote my book because I wanted to set the record straight, and I want people to know that even though our family IS bigger than most, we ARE beautiful, and families of our size CAN make it in this world!
While I am on the subject of books, maybe YOU ought to write a book about YOUR family! You have a pretty amazing story to tell yourself: overcoming severe physical disability and then adopting 11 wonderful little girls with disabilities to raise as your own, and then adding a 12th child, and still are plugging away, even with having surgery after surgery! You also have such a big heart and such a good outlook on life; and your faith in God is something that a lot of people can learn from. I sure did from meeting you! I am glad that you are saved and that your children are, too; we need more people like you, and you know that God will help us through whatever we may face in life! He has been so good to us, and if it were not FOR Him, I wouldn't have the children I do! I see God everytime I look at the beautiful young faces of my children, and they are a living Testimony of His Mercy and Grace! And I know people see God in them, and they can teach the world a thing or two!
What do you think of that? I would love to read your story, and from the way you write, it is very obvious that you are gifted with words; and you write so well! Me, I write pretty good, but sometimes my Cajun French way of talking shows up or gets in the way, and I write all funny, and people say "that's not good grammar or structure!", and they are always correcting me. I am sorry; but I can't help that at times; and sometimes old habits ARE hard to break! LOL Let me know what you think of my suggestion, okay?
Did you have a safe trip back? I hope so; it is obvious you MUST have, or I wouldn't be writing to your response now! (Boy, Louie, at times, you are dumber than a sack of wet mice! LOL Louie, use your brain for something asides a hat rack! LOL Where IS your head this morning, girl?? LOL) But I am so happy to hear that you are back home in Soulsbysville! Maybe next year we can take a trip out that way, and you can show me around Soulsbysville! I would love to return to California again! (The last time we were there was back in February of this year: Ronee' was on "Star Search", and we had a ball! And then we were back there in April, when we flew in to San Francisco, so we could board our cruise ship when Bill, Johnny, Ronee', and myself went on our Alaskan cruise!)
Oh! Before I forget, did I tell you that I saw my friend from Finland? Sari Gustaffssenn lives in Finland, but I had no idea she was in town until I saw her yesterday, when she showed up at the hospital where I work. (Seems that her friend she met at the Olympics has a sister who lives in America, and she was shot, and he flew in, so he could be with her. [Her friend, Nikolas Constantinos, lives in Greece, right IN Athens.] Anyway, Sari was worried about Nikolas, so she flew in unnanounced, and yesterday she showed up at the hospital, looking a bit rumpled and bedraggled, and asking me if I knew where her friend was.) Only trouble was, I didn't recognize Sari at first because she had changed from last year, and she looked completely different, and when I saw her, I didn't know who she was. But then she laughed, and I immediately knew; and she and I squealed and hugged each other like two little teenaged girls! Sari got us all some stuff from the Olympics, and last night, she came over, and she brought Nik with her, and they both got to meet my family, and we had a really good time. They got our kids "fake" Olympic medals (gold, of course! LOL), and they also got us pins, and they got some autographs from some of the athletes that they had met at the Olympics, and you never heard such excited squeals in all your life! WOW, it sure was noisy! LOL I also cooked up some beef souvlaki, in honor of Nik and Sari, and Nik helped me make a Greek salad, and he went to the store and got some wine and Ouzo (Greek liquor), and we had a wonderful meal together. The kids were happy to meet Sari and Nik, and of course, they thanked them both for their Olympic souvenirs! They were really tickled about the autographs; I think they made some friends for life! LOL
Well, Kendra (for some weird reason, I almost put Sari! LOL), I will let you go. I think I have bent your ears for far too long as it is now; think it is high time I put this thing to bed! Until I hear from you again, give all your beautiful girls (((HUGS))) and XXXX's from us, and tell them all hello and that we loved meeting them! Tell them we may write them a letter or two if they would like me or my family to do so! Until later, God bless you all mightily, and know that you are always in my prayers!
