Anna writes her friend in Tennessee after she receives an email from her.
Dear Louisiana Mayrah:
WOW, what a family you have! I enjoyed learning more about your lovely brood, and I know this may sound strange, but I feel as though I have known you all of my life when I actually just met you this past Sunday!
What a wonderful time we had; it was so nice to meet so many wonderful families whose only goal in life is to give unwanted or "undesirable" children a home that they might have otherwise never had hadn't fate or God stepped in! I never in my wildest dreams would ever imagine the family that I have today 15 years ago! Now look: my husband, Bob, and myself, are the proud and adoptive parents of 12 beautiful children!
I was a little surprised (okay, I was more than a little bit surprised...LOL) when I saw your family, Louisiana. And to think that you work too! How DO you do it? How DO you find time to take care of nearly fifty Miracle Children AND work, let alone, go ahead and write a book?? If I had as many kids as you, I'd probably go stark raving nuts! LOL You must only sleep one or two hours a night, at the rate you are going! LOL
I loved the part in your letter about the grandchildren and your memory! What fun I had when I read that! I laughed and laughed! But you seem awfully young to be a grandmother...you don't look like a grandmother, and your husband certainly does NOT fit the image of a grandfather! Just how old ARE you guys?? FIVE grandchildren?? WOW! Where do they live? Do they live close to you, or do they live across the country someplace? Please tell me about your grandkids!
I was saddened to learn of the deaths of your three biological children. That must have been absolutely heartshattering! But I am glad that God gave you the family that you so desired, and I must say that He has blessed you in a MIGHTY big way! Boy, when you say blessed, you have BEEN blessed in a HUGE way! But I am glad that your three biological children are now safe in the Lord's Strong and Loving Arms; that is the best place for them to be! And I know it will be a happy day when you are all reunited!
I hope you don't mind my being nosy, Louisiana, but I noticed that you walk on a cane, and that your husband uses forearm crutches. Yet you both don't let your disabilities rule you; you both have such a positive, uplifting outlook on life, and you both seem so happy! Why do you walk on a cane, and why does Bill walk with crutches? I was only wondering was all, and I hope you don't mind me asking. I know you've probably heard this question at least a million times or more, and if you don't want to answer, that is okay, too. I can accept that. But I was just wondering was all.
Well, Louisiana, I will let you go. I have to change Ty; he just pooped in his diapers, and from the smell, it was a pretty good one. He is sitting there, looking all proud of himself. Until I next hear from you, you take care and God bless you and your family of Miracles!

P.S.: You mentioned at the picnic that you have several friends in Alaska. Where do they live? Do any of them live near Anchorage? You also mentioned that you went to Alaska earlier this year on a cruise. That must have been wonderful for you all. You will have to tell me all about it the next time you write! Thanks!
you do these so well, so unlike the letters I write.. I am afraid I can be frightfully boring at times.. I guess b/c nothing ever happens in my life.. Oh well, at least you do well w. them.. Take Care over the weekend Karen, and Don't work to hard!

Very absorbing! The use of letters to tell a story is super.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
