Anna King writes her friend in Tennessee a letter. She has been busy with her own family, but she is glad to hear from Louisiana at long last.

Dear Louisiana:
Hello from the Great White North, Alaska, land of polar bears, snow and ice, tundra that stretches for miles, magestic mountain ranges, and a plethora of wildlife that boggles the imagination! This is your friend, Anna Arnette King! Hope this finds you all well and happy!
I thought I was busy: but YOU have me beat by a country mile! MY! ONLY 50 kids, you say? WOW! I can't imagine what that must look like when people see you all walking down the street! That must be a sight to behold! LOL But I AM glad that you can find time to do your daily chores, take care of a super family, work for a living, AND crank out books! Boy, Louisiana, you must be rich or have at least a million dollars, the way you must spend money on stamps or computer fees! LOL And your letters always look so professional with the style of typing (with no errors to speak of; I don't see any! LOL) and the pictures that you upload! Do you play the Lottery, and have you ever WON the Lottery?? I was just wondering was all...LOL
We are all well; thank you for asking! I am glad that Ronee', your daughter, enjoys the Northern Lights. Maybe I can pick her up a sweatshirt with the Lights on the front. What is her favorite color, and what size does she wear in clothes? You said she has black eyes and hair, and is dark of skin. Is she Oriental or Native American Indian? She must be if you say that she looks like she has Inuk blood in her! LOL Tell me what size and color Ronee' likes, and I will be more than happy to pick her up a shirt!
Do any of your other kids like the Northern Lights like Ronee' does? If not, what sports or games do they like? I may be able to get them some games or some books or even some art supplies. I can get them cheap; my cousin Lisa works at an art supply company, and she can get me supplies at a very reasonable discount.
My kids are all into video games, computer games, and books. They don't watch much in the way of tv; but I WILL let them watch Nickolodeon if they have been good or have completed their school assignments on time. If not, then they don't get to watch tv; it's that simple. How do you discipline your kids? Do you spank them if they misbehave, or do you put them in time-out and take away privileges? Are you hard on them, or do you basically let them do as they please, only if you have them abide by your rules?
My kids are also homeschooled. That way, I can keep a close eye on them, and monitor their learning; and they have fun as they go along in their lessons. Have you ever considered homeschooling your brood? If not, it's something you may want to look to! I get such satisfaction in teaching my kids about the world around them, and this way, I don't have to worry about them getting in trouble or getting involved in gangs, drugs, or getting into things I don't know about! Do your kids go to public school or private school? I was just wondering was all; I don't mean to pry in your life; but I don't know these things, and you seem like quite a very interesting person! I really enjoyed meeting you and your beautiful family at the AASK picnic a few weeks back; you guys are really something, and when I got back home to Alaska, I knew I just had to write to you! I am so glad that you decided to write back to me; I love getting mail from all over the world!
I will let you go for now. The kids are due in; it is soon going to be supper time for us; and then I will go over the lesson plans for tomorrow with the kids; and then it is off to bed until the morning, when I start the school day and start all over again. Ah, such as life when you are a homeschooling instructor and mother to over 10 rambunctious kids! LOL
