Today, Robert James Wilson, you would have been 42 years old. A drunk driver took you when you were only 19. That was 19 days ago. We came to see your gravesite. We placed colorful flowers on your grave. Our tears fell to water those flowers. It is our deepest wish that you have another wonderful birthday in heaven. You are not forgotten. Not for even a minute. You loved the Lord and I'm sure in all this time you've had some wonderful, inspiring conversations with God. There are times when I wish plain, ordinary folks like me could sit on a white marble bench and have discussions with God. I wish that his booming voice could come out of the clouds the way they do in movies like the Ten Commandments. Sometimes I think we need to actually hear the voice of God. That new show Joan of Arcadia has the right idea. I know that God lives and watches over us all the time. I just wish He'd speak up a little louder (to me anyway). I don't hear so well sometimes. There are times when I feel so confused and most especially lost and lonely. Bobby, will you put in a good word for me? I'm not that bad I guess. I've tried to be a good person. I love animals. I love certain seasons. I don't always love my enemy. That one gets a bit tricky. Nevertheless, the point is, Happy Birthday In Heaven.
Love, Auntie Penni
