Louisiana writes to her friend, Jenna Aurora Doucet, who is on her way back to her home in Alaska after spending some time away on a honeymoon with her new husband, Michael. The Doucets are now in British Columbia, Canada, just enjoying the scenery (and each other).

Dear Jenna:
Hello! This is your friend in Tennessee, Louisiana Sandusky! Thank you for writing; it was such a joy to get your letter the other day in my email! Glad you and Michael had fun on your honeymoon; and here's hoping that you continue to have a safe trip as you make your way back to your Alaskan home!
I am well, and so are my husband and most of the kids; but Ronee' is sick. She stayed home from school today because it seems that she is suffering from a flare; plus she seems to be rather depressed. She doesn't have much of an appetite, and it seems that any little thing, even as simple as looing at her a certain way, can set her off into a torrent of tears! I hate it when she is like this; she is usually a happy child, but lately it seems that any little thing can get her all bent out of shape! I don't know what is going on with her; but she seems so unhappy! Last night, she and Gemini got into it, and now they are mad at each other (Gemini is more mad at Ronee' than Ronee' is at Gemini), and they aren't speaking to one another. She has been on the verge of tears all day, and it really has gotten me worried! I will let you know what is going on with her the next time I write; in the meantime, keep her in your prayers! Thanks!
Johnny is fine; it seems that the seizure he had the other day was caused by his medication. The medication he was on apparently quit working, and this was why he had the seizure. Of course, "Ginger" let me know that her little master was about to have a seizure, and by the time I got to him, he was sitting in his chair, just a jerkin' away, and so after I took him out of his wheelchair, laid him down, and made sure that he was breathing and didn't injure himself, I stayed by his side until the seizure abated; and I then took him straight to the doctor's office. He checked Johnny over, and said that the medication he was on was no longer working; so he had to switch Johnny to something stronger, in order to control the seizure. Luckily, it wasn't a bad one to where he stopped breathing or to where I would have to call for an ambulance; but still, to see Johnny jerking uncontrollably did scare me a bit! But he has started taking his new medicine, and so far (knock on wood!), he hasn't had a seizure! I will keep a close eye on him, and of course, his dog, "Ginger", will too! (By the way, please continue to keep Johnny in your prayers; pray that he doesn't have another severe seizure! Any prayers will be much appreciated by both Johnny and myself! Thanks!)
I bet the weather up that away is starting to cool down significantly; here in Tennessee it is starting to cool down a little at night, and the days are starting to become shorter, too, plus the leaves are starting to change into their fall colors, a sure sign that winter is on its way; and soon we will have snow covering the ground. I love fall and winter; but I think fall is probably my favorite time of year, next to winter and spring. I love winter for the snow and cold, and spring for all the new life that comes into play; but I think fall is by far the prettiest season overall! Here in the Tennessee hills, it is especially so; the fall colors here are nothing short of SPECTACULAR!
Well, I am glad that you are doing well, and I am glad that life is treating you and Michael well! (About TIME is all I have to say, after all of the bad times you had last year with your accident and then long recovery! And then the surgery you had last month; you have NOT had a good year, Jenna!!) I am also glad that Michael's mama is doing well; I love that woman! I also love your mama, and your sister! Tell them I say hi, too!
Have you heard from Sikik Eegeesiak yet? I hear from her just about every week; she reminds me a lot of you, in terms of personality and sweetness! I should be hearing from her anytime; I expect an email from her any time!
Speaking of Alaska and speaking of Inuk, I am taking care of a woman now in my hospital who lives in Alaska, in Barrow, where Sikik lives. Her name is Kiinuq Tougas, and she lives in Pensacola, Florida. She was in the hospital in Florida, but she was transferred to our hospital here in Tennessee due to all the recent storm damage they had from the hurricanes that have hit Florida; and she will continue her recovery here. She was injured when her house got blown away by the powerful hurricane-force winds, and she suffered some pretty significant injuries to her one side (her arm, leg, hip, also had a head injury). She lived in Alaska, in Barrow, but she then got a transfer to Florida after she landed a job there, and she lived in Florida for the past several years. Hmmm...I wonder if she knows Sikik Grace Eegeesiak; I will have to ask her tomorrow, the next time I see her.
Well, Jenna, Ronee' is calling again (she needs help to the toilet), so I will have to let you go. I will write you again soon. Until the next time I hear from you, Jenna, take care, and may you and Michael both be blessed! Love you both! (Miss you both, too!)
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May. :-)
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
