Ronee' is at the fair; this is her first entry into the family's fair diary.
Unfortunately, I, the author of this story, isn't as brave as Ronee' when it comes to riding some of the more scarier rides. I am getting to be too old for those gut bustin' rides! LOL
Hey! This is Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux.
You'll never guess where I am at. I am at the Tennessee State Fair, and I am here with my family; and I am having an absolute ball! I performed earlier today, and now I am writing this down in the family's fair diary, as a way of letting y'all know what we are doing at the fair, which started today! After I get this down, I will be going to the midway with some of my brothers and sisters, and I will be riding the rides!
I think the music and the midway are probably my two very favorite things about the fair. It doesn't matter if it is a county fair or a state fair: as long as music and rides are featured, I am THERE! There are some new rides at the midway this year that I want to ride (the Booster, the Chaos, etc., rides guaranteed to scare the living poop outta' a person, but rides I LOVE!! 'Course, I am dizzier than snot after I get off, and I walk like a little crab on my crutches; but hey...that is part of the fun! LOL), and there are some great performers scheduled to appear at this year's fair: Ronnie Milsap, LORETTA LYNN (can you tell I like her?? LOL I will be opening up for her at her show on Wednesday night, and I am STOKED! I am realllly looking forward to it!), Tanya Tucker, ALAN JACKSON (he's a BABE! OW! [she says, doing her best Michael Jackson imitation LOL], and Reba McEntire (another one I LUV!!!). So you know I will be having FUUUUNNN!! :)
I am at the fair snack area, chawin' down on the last of my crawfish boudin, plus I had fries, a giant-sized Coke, and ice cream. And right after I get this down and let my food settle down somewhat, I am going RIDING! LOL (Naw, I don't get sick on the rides; I can go on something like a roller coaster or the SkyDiver right after eating and NOT lose a THING! People ask me all the time how I can do that, but I tell them I don't know; I just love to ride rides, and they don't bother ME none! LOL) Maybe it has something to do with my being Cajun, I don't know, but I can ride rides ALL day, and I DON'T get sick, even the guaranteed gut wrenching ones like the Booster, the Salt and Pepper Shakers, the SkyDiver, the Zipper, or the Inverter. YAHOOO, but I love those scary, spinny, vertigo-inducin' rides! Just get my happy little butt on them, and I am in FAIR HEAVEN! LOL
Well, I am gonna' hit the ride trail, so I will write more later. Don't worry about me; I will make it on the rides just fine! (Just WALKING is gonna' be the biggest challenge I face; if I don't fall over after I get off those crazy things called rides, then I will be fine! LOL) C-ya; wouldn't want ta' be ya! LOL
~Luv, your ride lovin' friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux.
Look out, Booster, SkyDiver, El Zippo, Orbiter, and Inverter...here I COME!! AAIIIEEE!! :D
