Johnny's latest entry into the family's fair journal. He is still trying to stay off the rides and trying to keep his stomach from acting up.
I am still here at the fair, and I am still battling my stomach. My stomach has really been getting quite a workout these past few days ever since we first came to the Tennessee State Fair.

This is Johnny again. My sister, the Monster (you know her as Ronee'; to me, she is the Monster!), wrote again today after she said that she wouldn't write until the weekend, but she had some more stuff to write about; so I guess I am doing the same. I have stuff to write about, too, you know.

The Monster gets to sing tonight. She is opening up the show for country music legend (and her favorite singer, although I like her too--although I prefer Reba McEntire more!--), Loretta Lynn; and of course, the people will clap for her; and I will get jealous. I always do because she gets all the glory, and it's all "Ronee', Ronee', Ronee'", and I get mad! Oh, sure, she is a great singer and all, but I would like to be known for something too besides "that little kid in the wheelchair" or "that little muscular dystrophy kid"; and I hate it when people look at me all sad and feel sorry for me! I sing, too, but to tell you the truth, I would much rather play video games! It's too bad the fair doesn't have entertainment geared for video games (like a competition for kids, maybe??) 'cause I would probably clean everyone's clock, and I would be the Video Game King! And all the glory would fall on me, and I would feel like I am SOMEBODY instead of some kid in some stupid wheelchair! GRRR!!

But I am looking forward to the Loretta Lynn show tonight. Anything to get my mind off those stupid darn rides! I see the rides like the TopSpin, the Storm, the Booster, the SpaceRoller, the Indiago, the SkyDiver, the Zipper, or the Tilt A Hurl, and my stomach is doing the flippy thing; and it isn't long before I feel like I have to PUKE! (Sometimes I DO! I did that the other day, as a matter of fact; had to go to the first aid tent to get something to settle my queasy stomach! It was gross, and it was NOT fun AT all! The bad part of the whole deal was that I didn't even go ON the ride when I got sick; all I did was WATCH it, and I lost my lunch! URRRRRRPPPPPPPPP!!!)

I also have been enjoying the exhibits here at the State Fair, especially the autos. I saw the latest in cars and trucks, and I saw the HUMMERS (got to sit in one, too; but then I have ridden in HUMMERS before; nothing new..my friend, Roberto, has a HUMMER..) and the Corvettes; those are probably my favorites. I also like the Thunderbirds. I also liked the animals, especially the dogs and the cats.

I haven't been eating much because the smells from the different food courts upset my stomach almost as much as the rides, and there isn't much I like in the way of fair food. I eat some, but not a lot; I don't want to get sicker any easier than I already do! I DO eat at the food court; but I don't eat the stuff along the midway. Too nauseating for me! UCHHH!

I HAVE been drinking a lot of water or Cokes; but that's because I need to keep my liquids up, and when I DO eat, I eat so I can take my pills when it is time. But if I didn't have to take my pills, I would probably not eat at ALL at the fair! I'd much rather eat at home!

Well, I will go now. I am going to look at some more exhibits before I lose my stomach again...just looked at the TopSpin (which my sister is ON; I can hear her screaming like a maniac!), and my tummy went right along with it! URRRRP! I feel sick all of a sudden...Bye!

~Love, your (nauseated) pal, Johnn-o. :( *URRRRP!*

As for the ride in the picture, would you believe that Ronee' and some of my brothers and sisters actually RODE this thing??? URRRRRRRRRRRRRRP!! I can't even LOOK at it without getting sick to my stomach! UGHHHHH!!!!! No, by the way, I did NOT ride that! You won't catch ME on the BOOSTER! NO way in H-E double hockey stick, man! LOL

~Love, me.

P.P.S.: And people call things like the Booster "FUN"???? Not to ME!!!! To me it is NOT fun; it's EVIL!!!! YIPE!! :0
