Wednesday, October 13, 2004 ("Loretta Lynn Day" at the Fair! :) )~
Dear Fair Journal:
This is Barbara. I am finally off the rides for today; I am still a bit dizzy; but that is the ropes when one spends a goodly portion of riding those stomach-twisters! LOL I rode the Booster yet again, as well as the SpaceRoller (I call it the SpaceRollOVER! LOL), the Storm, the SkyDiver, the Zipper, the Indiago, the TopSpin, the Twister, the Ragin' Cajun (a very hyped up spinny ride, kinda' like the Storm, but the seats flipped; yikes!), the Tilt a Whirl, the Dodge'Em cars, and the LoveBug (kind of like the Himalaya, but much, much faster!). I don't know HOW I kept from throwing up! LOL
I am now at the Grandstand, waiting to be let in for the Loretta Lynn show, which is scheduled to start in just under three hours from now. I am really excited at seeing Loretta; she puts on a great show, and she never fails to entertain her audience, which is always a big crowd! I am also excited because my younger sister, Ronee', who is 11 1/2, is opening up for Loretta, and I know the people will like her Cajun-spiced country music! She sings and plays Cajun accordion, in addition to the fiddle, mandolin, guitar, piano, and banjo, and she is a very talented young entertainer! She is well on her way to country (Cajun) music stardom, and she puts on a very entertaining show herself!
To while away the time while I am here, I am guzzling Cokes, and I am feeding my face; anything to stop my tummy from growling! I am STARVING! I guess I screamed once too many times on one of the rides! LOL I wish my boyfriend, Trent, were here; I wonder what he is doing now. I miss him whenever he is not with me! I hope he is here; if so, after the Loretta Lynn show, we just may spend the rest of the evening riding more rides together before I call it a night and have to go back with my family!
The weather is delightful: highs near 80 degrees, pristine-blue skies with nary a cloud in it, a stiff north breeze which feels good on my skin, and very low humidity. We had a cold front come in last night (it thundered late last night, but by morning time, the clouds were about gone!), and the weather is just perfect for the fair! You couldn't ask for better fair weather!
I saw some of my school buddies earlier while waiting to go on some of the rides: Shavonne, Gina, Ashley, Ashton, Addison, Humberto, Evan, Brian, Nikole, Brandy, and Cole. We all had lunch together before I met my family at 1; and they were a bit disappointed that I didn't eat with them; but they understood when I told them that my friends invited me to lunch with them. So they didn't mind too much. At least I didn't abandon them; we will be sitting together at the Loretta Lynn show! Maybe one or some of my friends will join us; I hope so!
I will go for now; am going to use the little girl's facilities; have to pee all of a sudden (but then that is a bit more information than you really needed to know! LOL). I will write more again! Until later, Chao, baby! See ya; wouldn't want to be ya! LOL
It's almost Christmas. Lynn Basil is writing her last book about a secret entrance into the magical doll land of Sha Bebe that she loves so much. Bagannos have taken over the world! Lynn finally meets her dolls in real life. Can she write in a Secret
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
