Another email, another response from Louisiana, who is holed up in her room, at the computer. This time, she writes to her other California friend, Kendra Williams.

Dear Kendra:
I am soo happy to hear that you have made the decision to adopt the little girl from Japan! I pray that the adoption goes through, and I pray nothing but the best for you and your family!
Just heard from Louisa; boy, she is having it rough, isn't she? I am glad that your shunt is working and that your headaches aren't as much of a nuisance anymore. The surgery you had earlier this year appears to have done the trick. Good on you! I told her I would continue to pray for her and you both, and I am sorry to know that you are having problems with some of your neighbors. That is horrible that they can't accept you or the children when all you are doing is giving kids a needed home and family! I see nothing wrong with that! As long as YOU are happy, and as long as you know that this is the Calling that God has placed upon you, well, then, I am behind you all the way, and I say GO FOR IT! You know you have my support, and also Louisa's!
I was telling Louisa that I used to have problems with the neighbors myself, but things have settled, and they have since gotten used to us, and they have found out that we are a lot like them, only bigger! LOL We aren't hurting anyone; why, then, should some people act like such jerks and try to make our lives miserable? I just don't understand people sometimes...
Thank you for the prayers for Ronee'. I am sure she will appreciate it. She is up now; she is eating some soup, and some crackers. She is also drinking some tomato juice, to try to keep her fluid intake up. She just had some medicine, and she is waiting for it to take effect. Her hair is all wild looking, thanks to lying in bed, and she has such a sleepy look on her face, which is all wrinkled from lying on the sheets. She looks so adorable! She also has oxygen tube marks on her cheeks, and when she woke up, the prongs were all askew, and she was giving oxygen to her cheek! LOL She is starting to feel a LITTLE better; at least she isn't throwing up like she was last night, but she still feels puny!
Johnny is doing better, too, now that we aren't at the fair. He had a rough time with the rides; and half the time he wasn't even ON them when he got sick! Poor little guy...he wants to go to the fair, but the fair is too much for his weak little belly, and he is geting sick WITHOUT having to ride one ride! I feel so sorry for him at times; but he still does enjoy the exhibits and the music shows! Thanks for the prayers for him, too! He appreciates it as much as we do!
I am glad the girls are doing well in school, especially little Anna Grace! She sounds like quite the extraordinary little girl! Good for her; glad she is flying through her classes! I pray that they aren't getting sick, and I pray that if they are, they get better soon! It's not fun having a housefull of sick kids about! Boy, do I know all about THAT! The flu season hit our family HARD last year, and I am afraid that it may be a repeat performance this year, from the way they are talking! I pray we get some shots before we can't; that would be DISASTEROUS if we couldn't get the shots, especially since so many of our kids (plus Bill and myself) are considered to be in the "high risk" category! Be praying that we get our shots before the flu season strikes!
Also heard that Al Quaeda is running at the mouth again; I am SO sick of hearing about them I could just SPIT! I wish something could be done to stop these awful people, and I pray we don't get attacked again! Once was more than enough! And this campaign: it is enough to make me SICK! I am so sick of John Kerry, every time I see his face I just *cringe*! There's just something about that man that I just don't trust, and I pray he does NOT get in! He would be DETRIMENTAL to our country!
Well, I gotta' go; Jodie just threw up. Gotta' clean her up. Will write again soon; again, congrats on your decision on adopting the little girl from Japan! Please let me know anything about her as soon as you find out something! I am DYING to hear all about her! God bless you all, and know I am still continuing to lift y'all up in prayer!
