The Sandusky family is looking forward to a special and memorable Thanksgiving Day.
We have a lot to be thankful for, especially this year. It is November, and Thanksgiving is coming up fast.
To us, Thanksgiving means family, turkey with all the trimmin's, and laughter and fun for all; but this year Thanksgiving will be especially memorable.
This year, our oldest daughter, Lightning and her family (they live in Colorado) will be coming, and this year, I will get to meet my newest twin grandchildren (both boys); they are now 4 1/2 months old, and they are both beautiful! I will also get to see our friends from California, Kendra Williams and see her 12 beautiful adopted daughters, and I will also get to see Michael and Jenna Doucet, who have just informed me that they are coming all the way from Alaska to see us! So it will look like we will have a house full and a half! In addition to all these people, my daughter, Dwerlina, who is going to college in Louisiana, is coming, as is Tanya, who is attending college in Texas, and our two daughters who live here in town, not far from us (Dianna and Melizza) are coming as well! I am looking forward to seeing everybody, but Lord knows what I am going to do to find room! It may look like Bill and I will have to pay for motel rooms for our out of state guests or there will be no room for US! We already have a housefull NOW; I don't know HOW we are going to accomodate all these extra people! YIKES!
My Texas friend, Phoebe Pearson, is coming, too, along with her husband, and their children; and it will be so good to see Hanh and Linn again! Hanh and Linn, Cambodian sisters who were adopted into the Pearson clan, were our foster children for a while, and they wanted to come see us; so this is why they are coming too, along with people from Colorado, Alaska, California, and Louisiana!
We may have to go out to eat; there is NO way I can cook for over 70 people! It looks like we may eat at Golden Corral for Thanksgiving; let someone else cook for a change instead of always ME! (Seems like that is all I ever do on Thanksgiving...COOK and work my fingers to the bare bone!) Hmmm...that may not be a bad idea! We just may end up doing that! Now I don't know what Golden Corral will say about that I need a reservation for a party of 100, but it sure beats cooking and slaving away in a hot kitchen!
Guess I got to start getting our place ready for our coming guests; after all, Thanksgiving IS in two weeks, on the 25th of November! But at least I won't have to COOK this year! That is going to be sooo nice!

Thanksgiving and death seem to bring people together. It sounds like you will be blessed with all of your family showing up. It's still early but here is wishing you a very happy and joyfilled Thanksgiving.
