Dear Journal~
Hi~ This is your friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux!
I am all over my flare; I am back to my normal speed, and I am happy to say all that awful pain and feeling sick is all behind me. I have been having problems with my allergies, but fall is always rough for me. (I just have to have my decongestant, my allergy medicines, and plenty of Kleenex! I also have my inhaler with me, in CASE Mr. Asthma decides to visit my lungs! But so far he's managed to stay away, thank goodness!)
I got an A+ on my Creative Writing assignment about "The Mind of Cat". I was sooo happy! I also got A's (and some B's) on my other assignments, and I am getting ready to start practicing for my upcoming solos at church and at the nursing home; I am singing for Thanksgiving, and I am also starting to work on my stuff for Christmas. My voice is in good form; haven't really had too much trouble with it, thank goodness!
I watched my show, "America's Most Talented Kids", on PAX, and I love it, love it, loooooooooooooove it! I wish I could have made it to the show during the auditions when they were in town, but I got too nervous beforehand, and it showed; still, I thought I maybe had a chance. Oh, well...maybe if it is on again next year, I can try out then, and hopefully, by then, I won't be soo nervous! I didn't go to church yesterday because my allergies were really bugging me, but today I feel better; don't seem as stuffed. Plus my eyes aren't swollen any more; yesterday, they were really puffy, and they watered so bad it looked like I was constantly crying! But I was NOT crying; just my stupid allergies were kickin' me in the tail again. GRRR! I HATE having allergies; they're a HUGE pain in the RUMP!
I am realllly looking forward to Monday of next week, and also Thanksgiving, which is on the following week, on Thursday: On Monday, the 15, we are going to the Golden Corral because grandpere' Armand gets to get a free meal (he's a vet; he served for two years, you know), and we get to go too. We don't get to get a free meal, but just thinking about eating all that good food there makes me HUNGRY! YUMMO! I absolutely LOVE the Golden Corral! And on Thanksgiving, we are going there again; my sisters Tanya and Dwerlina are coming home from college for the Thanksgiving holiday, and also my other two sisters, Dianna and Melizza (they live here, not too far from us; they share an apt.) re coming. So is my other OLDEST sister, Lightning, who lives in Colorado with her family; and all of them are coming, which means I get to see my Colorado cousins again! WHEE! I also get to see Jenna and Michael, my friends in Alaska, and also my friends from California, Kendra Williams, and HER daughters! ALSO, my friends from Texas, Fort Worth, Phoebe Pearson and HER family! So we are going to have a GANG and a half for Thanksgiving! It is going to be a BLAST! I can't wait to see my friends or my family again!! This is going to be SUPER!!
Nicole is all over her flu, but she then had a flare; so she wasn't at school last week. She also wasn't there today, darn it! I HATE it when she is absent; she makes life fun! I hope she feels better soon! But I wasn't the one who gave her the flare; you can't catch a flare from another person, like you can the cold or the flu! I already got my flu shot last week; I hate shots, but with my health history being the way it is, I am considered "high risk", so I have to get the shots. Oh, well...I'd rather get the shot than to have the flu! The last time I had it (last year), I think I threw up everything inside me, and I felt SOOO bad! I was soooo glad when I finally got over it! I never was so happy to get back to school in my life! Let's face it: having the flu SUCKS EGGS!!
I am trying to think of what I want for Christmas. I don't know what I want this year; this is the first time I have had trouble. I have so many clothes now it isn't funny, and I have new crutches (I got those last year; they're teal; my old crutches were pink, pink, PINK! I mean PINK!! Knock your eyes out PINK!), and I also got my remote control HUMMER I had wanted; so I can't think of a single thing I need this year. But I WILL say this: I DO want a Cabbage Patch Kid, hopefully one with a disability, one that maybe kinda' looks like me??...that'd be kinda' neat, if you think about it! They make 'em like that, and they make well, normal, kids! I also want more art supplies and another journal; this one is getting full fast! It's not long before I get to the end; and when I do, I will have to find paper to scribble on, until I get a new journal! I also want the book, "The Polar Express"; and I want to see that movie, too. They say it is really something to see!
Well, it is going to be time for lunch (and then recess; today is Meatloaf Monday; tomorrow is Taco Tuesday), so I best go for now. I will write more next time. Until then, this is your friend, Ronee', signing off! Over and out!

OH! OH! ALMOST forgot: the Hallowe'en/Fall Festival celebration at our church was a rousing success; but I didn't win. I got fourth place. Oh, well...maybe next year....I still had fun though, and my brother, Johnny, and his friend, Jose' Varques, were bottles of mustard and ketchup; and I thought they should have won; but they didn't. I was so disappointed that they didn't win; their costumes were cool and original! Their costumes ROCKED!
Another note:
The kitty is the kitten of my friend, Nicole. His name is "Chaz". Isn't he cute?? I saw that picture, and I just smiled!
