Diane Aguilar, busy herself with pre-holiday plans, finally has some time to spare. In her free time, she emails her friend in Tennessee after Louisiana has written to her. She is having all sorts of problems.
Friday, the 12th of November, 2004~
Dear Louie:
Hey! This is your friend in Del Rio, Diane, speaking! I am sorry for not writing sooner; but I have been unbelievably busy! I hope this finds you all well; I am sorry to read of all the woolly, wild weather y'all have had up that away, and I am sorry to hear that Johnny and Ronee' were both sick! I do hope (and pray) that both Johnny and Ronee' are over their sicknesses now; and I pray that they are both feeling a lot better!
I have been doing fairly well; but these headaches continue to plague me. I have to have an MRI next month; the doctors seem to think I may have a tumor someplace; this may be what is causing the headaches. GREAT. Just what I DON'T want to hear, especially with the holidays coming up! My mother died of cancer when I was fourteen, and before she took sick with the cancer, she was having the headaches; and I am afraid that I may have the same thing. Please be praying for me; just the thought of it all (plus the upcoming MRI; I am scheduled to have it on December 24, 2004) is scaring the hell out of me!
The kids are well, but last week, Rosita had to go to the emergency room, according to her school. She had another spell with her breathing; but she is now back at her school; she is seemingly over her problem, thank goodness. I hate it when she falls ill; she is so delicate, and she has never been all that strong, physically. And last night, Humberto, Jr. and Chico had another round of the squirts; they spent the day home today, and they are feeling a little better. I have been keeping them fed and "liquidated", and so far, they haven't had any problems with poopy diapers or soiled clothes. They are acting more like their typical selves, so maybe they are over this bug. I hope so; I am ever so tired of having to do laundry again!!
Negra fell down yesterday and busted her nose open; she had to go to the E.R. to get stitches; so she is home from school as well. She has been sleeping most of the day, and I have been keeping an eye on her. She looks horrible; her poor little face is all swollen, and her nose looks like a blackened potato! I feel so bad for her! Maybe it's a good thing she can't see her face?...
My hubby's disability claim has been denied; now we are going to have to go back to square one and start all over. I am so frustrated it is all I can do to keep from crying!! I am so sick of all this beaurocratic #$%^; my husband CAN'T work due to his back problems; WHY are they doing this to us again?? I don't know how much more of this crap I can take! It's pure-T MADNESS!!!
And our kids' health coverage has been cut; I am having to pay for their needs out of my own pocket, and it is putting a huge dent in our finances. The way things are going nowadays we just may not have a Christmas this year; and this is so upsetting! Please pray for us; we really could use some miracles about now!
I am sorry for burdening you with our problems, but this is why I haven't written. It seems that the bad news keeps on piling up, and I don't know WHAT I am going to do! Please help me somehow or give me some advice! I really could use your expertise in this matter! I will write more later; right now I am crying too hard and I can't hardly half see due to all the tears that are falling from my eyes!

Diane apply again they usually turn you down twice before approving. If nothing else hire an attorney they cannot charge you most places more than $200.OO. Do not be afraid of the MRI. I have had five and more CT's than can count. It is a relief to find out even if it is bad news. Sometimes stress does weird things. But there are gracious people at the den that will put you on their prayer lists. It works I know. I also have a friend that has survived four recurrances of a brain tumor. Take hope and do not give up.
