Johnny answers his friends' latest letter after not writing for a while.
Monday, the 15th of November, 2004~
Dear Michael and Jenna:
Hi! This is Johnny!
I am sorry for not writing sooner, but I have been busy, plus I have had my days where my muscular dystrophy has been nothing but a huge pain in the rump for me. Some days I am so weak I feel like a kitten or a wet, dirty dish towel that's been used a million times a day!!
I do hope you aren't mad at me. I am not mad at you guys; never was! I see you wrote a letter to my sister, the Ronster (Ronee'); she wrote you back, and she got another letter; and I was feeling a tad jealous 'coz she was getting mail; and I wasn't; and you...well, you know how THAT goes. I am looking forward to seeing you guys for Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see you; I really miss you guys! Ever since Alaska, I have had a real yearning to go back there, and I enjoyed meeting you both! You treated us real special like, and I am glad that we are palsie-walsies!
Did you know we saw the Northern Lights here? In TENNESSEE?? Yes, we did! We had a huge storm on the sun, and it caused us to see the Northern Lights; and they were really cool! It was almost like we were back in ALASKA, they were so bright! Of course, Ronee' was beside herself with excitement over the Lights; and I was like "COOL!", but I didn't go ape squat over them like my SISSIE!
We also saw a good movie last week: we saw "The Polar Express", and it was a really good movie; but the movie I want to see is "The Incredibles". The papers and 'zines say it is a really good movie; and I think it would be one that I would really like! They even say it is #1 at the movie box office, with "The Polar Express" holding the #2 spot. Not bad, hunh? Two family movies holding the top two spots! Now is THAT cool or WHAT??
Tonight we are taking Grandpere' Armand out for eats. He is a veteran, and tonight, the Golden Corral (ALL Golden Corrals, really!) is honoring those who served our country, and this includes active duty, retired, and reserves. So you can bet that it will be crowded, crowded, and you can bet that Roberto, M'Buti, and their kids will be there; as will millions of other veterans! LOL I bet Steffi will be pulling her hair out by the time tonight ends; she has to roll silverware tonight instead of work on the line, which is her usual job. The girl who usually does the silverware was in an car accident, so she can't work tonight; so Steffi will have to do Juana's job. She doesn't mind the silverware duty, but she is afraid that the heat and steam from the kitchen will frizz out her hair! Isn't that silly?? LOL So I guess I get to eat out tonight; hmmm...wonder what I will have at the 'Ral! Too many choices, too much in the way of good food! I don't know how they are gonna' feel when we, a party of 48 or 49 people, are coming when they are already gonna' have lines bustin' through the doors, what with all those veterans! AYE YI YI! LOL
And next week is Thanksgiving! That means we will see you in only NINE more days! I can't wait; and I know you can't either!! I hope and pray y'all have a safe trip from Alaska, and I can't wait to see you guys!! This is gonna' be fun!! (Not to mention, a tad CROWDED! LOL) Fun times are ahead for us!!
Well, I gotta' go; I am in study hall, and I have but ten minutes before it is over. I have to get my stuff ready for my next class and then motor it down the hall to my class. I am glad I have the wheelchair; too much walking for ME!! And today is a weak body day; good thing I have my motorized chair! I will see you next week, and I will write again soon! Write when you can, and have a safe trip to Tennessee from Alaska! Love you guys!

I have my weak body days too and today has been one of them. I get tired of the complications hitting me from the radiation but if I had not recieved it. I could be dead. Not funny sometimes but I can sympathize with the character.
