Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Howdy, or as I love to say, Bonjour! Comment ca vas? J'suis tres bon, merci beaucoup! (That means "Hi! How are you? I am fine, thank you very much!" in French! As you know, I speak French; I have spoken it since I was little. Maman taught me; and I also learned it in school when I started nursery school; and I took it when I started kindergarten; and I am still taking it now. I am also learning Spanish, as you know; and that is easy as pie! Spanish es muy bueno!
Thanks for writing, and telling me about your teacher. I am glad you like her. I love my teacher, Mr. Gee, but sometimes he can be tough; but he isn't really that bad once you get to know him. I just wish some of the kids would stop picking on me because of my chest starting to show, and I wish they wouldn't get mad at me whenever I have to stand in line because as you know, I am NOT exactly Speedy Gonzalez!
I loved the picture you put of the ballet dancers your letter; that was really pretty! The little girl I put on my last letter is Tiffany Evans, she is a 12-year-old singing sensation from New Jersey, and she won "Star Search" when it was on CBS last year. She won the Junior Singer title, and she also got a record deal. Her album was due to come out this month, but now I have to wait until February to get it, which made me mad! I realllly want that album! Isn't she pretty? She is really nice, and she is a great little singer! She is really gonna' go places with her singing! I don't know if you like rhythm and blues/soul music, but I do; I love just about anything as long as it isn't easy listening or big band (GAG!)! But my favorite kinds of music are definitely country/western (in particular the older stars; think Loretta Lynn, and you will have an idea of who I like!), Cajun (I love just about all the singers in Cajun music, in particular Jimmy C. Newman, Belton Richard, and young accordion phenom, Hunter Hayes, who is just 13!), and gospel (my favorites in gospel are the Happy Goodmans, Karen Wheaton, the McCameys, Dallas Holm, the Isaacs, Renee' Bondi, and Cristy Lane). I also like Reba; I forgot to mention her! Sorry about that....LOL
The Spongebob movie was good, but Johnny can't stand Patrick Star, Spongebob's friend. He has a rather annoying voice, and I think I tend to agree with him. I can only take him in small doses, if you know what I mean. I hope you get to see "The Polar Express"; it was a wonderful movie! We saw it again yesterday, and we really enjoyed it as much the second time as we did the first time we saw it! I hope you get to see both the Spongebob movie and also "The Polar Express"!
Well, I gotta' take a bath; I am rather dirty, and I stink. I was playing in the basement, and there was dried mud on the floor, and I got it all over me. So I gotta' bath, so I don't smell for church! I will write you again soon; take care, and God bless! Happy Thanksgiving too! (That's on Thursday; I can't wait! We will have company GALORE!!)

P.S.: The girl in the pic is one of the original winners of the original "Star Search", when Ed McMahon hosted it. She was then five, and she won the Junior Singer title. Her name is Kata Huddleston (but she is known in music circles as "Kata Hay"), and she is very good at what she does. She has been performing on stage since she was but a tiny child of three, and she won "Star Search" when she was five, making her the youngest person ever to win on "Star Search". She is a champion yodeler, and she sings traditional country, western, and gospel. She is super nice, and she is also going to be a huge star one day in country music!
I think the reason I like these so much, after thinking it over, is how life-like these letters are. Strong characters and a natural, chatty "voice" make them come alive. Great stuff.
