Dear Rebekkah~
Thank you for your sweet little note to me. It was good to hear from you again! Your little letter cheered me up (and right now, I don't feel much like smiling; we just buried my little niece, and everything--and anything--can set me off in a torrent of tears!)!
Bill is sleeping now; maybe it's a good thing he is...he hasn't slept much since Saturday, upon finding about Cajun Marie's death. We are at Marvin and Toni's place, and people keep coming and offering us their heartfelt sympathies for our loss. Bill is exhausted, and he suddenly looks so old...I feel so bad for him and his brothers! They all look careworn and old; I pray nothing happens to any of THEM!...
I miss my babies back home in Nashville; how I wish I could just go back there, gather them all in my arms, and tell them how much I love them! I don't know if I could handle any of them dying; some of them have come too close to dying themselves, and I was afraid that I would have to make funeral arrangements for Johnny, Ronee', Roberto, Jodie, or Enriquesa, but thankfully, all survived their health scares, and they are all emerging into lovely young women and men! I get so scared whenever any of them become sick or run into an emergency situation; I am scared that I am going to lose them, and I don't know if I can handle that right now, especially since our little niece died just a few short days ago and we just buried her!!
Do have your mama write; I would love to hear from Naomi again! It's been a while! And you can have your daddy write, too; I'd love to hear from him too! Johnny and Ronee' have been busy; that is why you haven't heard from them. They are fine, but school and homework (plus their practicing for the upcoming Cantata) keeps them both pretty well tied up; but I will remind them tonight when I call them to write to you. Is that okay??
Well, I must go; Bill is up, and he is crying again....I am getting worried about him, especially since he isn't well himself, with his asthma and depression...please keep him (and the rest of us Sanduskys) in your prayers; we really could use them right now!
God bless you, Rebekkah, and thank you again for your sympathy wishes and your prayers! As long as we both know that God is in control and that Cajun is finally at peace with Jesus, then we will all feel a little better, and that it will take time to get over the mourning process!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tn., Louisiana Mayrah. :( >tears<
poignantly written...very powerful emotions in this one--well done!
(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :(

I am touched by this one it is always so sad around the holidays when one passes. I understand depression and asthma as I have suffered from it as well. I have something today but not as bad. Went and made some peanut butter fudge. Yum. Well I continue to pray for you in this excellent write.
