Dear Louisiana in America~
Hai! Miita kuulu? Kiitos hyvaas!
This is your friend in Finland, Sari, writing! I was so happy to have heard from you, and I am glad that you are doing well! How did your visit with your company go? I hope and pray you had a great visit!
Nikolas is here with me; he will be with me until the spring, when we return to Greece for our wedding. (You ARE still coming, right??) It is so nice to have him here; he has been taking good care of me and of Mother, and he has been spoiling me! He is slowly getting used to the cold, and he is really enjoying the snow; he is like a little boy at times! He wants to go out in the snow and throw snowballs and make snow men and women; it is really precious! I will have to send you pictures of Nikolas in the snow; think you may get a kick out of it, no?
I am doing well; but some days my fibro acts up, and I hurt. But Niko holds me in his arms, and he kisses me and tells me how much he loves me. And...oh, why do I mention this?? You don't need to know THAT; that's personal, if you know what I mean! I am so sorry; boy, is my face ever RED!! Gosh!! LOL I am so stupid at times...
The weather is cold and snowy here; we have at least several feet of snow on the ground, and the lights have been out in full force lately. I have been enjoying Aurora's dance, and I wish you could see them here! They are so astonishing!! How is the weather there in Tennessee? Is it still warm, or is it getting colder there?
We put up an electric fence, to keep out the wolves, and so far, it's seemed to have helped. We haven't lost any more reindeer since I last wrote, thank goodness. I still can't forget the sight of that dead wolf in my yard; I still have nightmares about it!! The reindeer are getting nice and fat, and we have had some good reindeer stew as of late! YUMM!! Have you ever had reindeer? You ought to try some! It's goooooooooooood.....LOL
You will have to tell me how the visit with all your company went! I bet you were so happy when they left! Did they make it to their (respective) homes safely? I hope they did! Are any of them coming back for Christmas? Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? We are all done (brag, brag!), and we have since mailed yours out about a week and a half ago. Think you will like what Niko and I got you for Christmas! Let us know when you get it, and what you think, okay?? Thanks!
Ivalo is all alight with Christmas lights and decorations; I love Christmastime! I always have, and everyone is in such a cheery mood around the holidays! But alas, I feel a twinge of sadness, as I lost my dear Father last year, and I find my eyes growing wet at the thought of him. I still miss him so....I also have heard that you lost a family member...I hope it wasn't one of your kids...that would be horrible! Please let me send my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you and your Northern Lights Family, and if there is anything you need, please, by all means, let us know! We may even come out there if that is what you so desire; we would love to see you again! We are praying for you all, and we pray that God gives you the strength to get through this sad time in your life!
How is your sweet Johnny? Ronee'? Gemini? Jodie? All the others? Tell them all "Hai!" from me in Finland, and tell them that I love them all and miss them all so much! I sent them a little something in the package; so be expecting some nice surprises in the post soon! Tell them all Merry Christmas from me!
How is your Bill? Is he still having problems with his legs? His back? I wish I could take his pain away; he seemed so unhappy when I was there last, and it upset me! I feel so bad for him; I wish something could be done to ease his mind, or let alone, his pain...
My brothers are all well; I will be telling them to drop you a line. They would like to meet you; you will get that opportunity next spring, when you come to Greece for our wedding. They are looking very much forward to meeting you and Bill, and I am sure you will like my brothers! They are all crazy, but they are all good guys! (I am not just saying that because I am their baby sister, but you know what I mean! LOL) They wish you a very Merry Christmas too; they have also sent you something from Finland, so you will be getting lots of mail from the post here in Finland!
Well, dearie, I have to go; Mother is calling. Think she may have to use the toilet; I will write more later.
