Dear Rebekkah~
Hi! Thanks loads for writing to me! It was so good to hear from you again, and I love the way you put the Hebrew greetings on the letter! You will have to teach me how to spell the words, or how to say them! That way, if you ever come to see me here in Tennessee, I can greet you in Hebrew and impress you! LOL
I am sorry for not writing; but I have had my bad days and my good days when it comes to my MD. Muscular dystrophy IS the pits, but I have learned to take one day as it comes, and I have learned not to overdo myself if I am feeling especially weak or tired. I also have been busy with school and homework, and I have been busy getting ready for Christmas (and my birthday, which happens to be on the day AFTER Christmas! But Ronee', the lucky duck, has her birthday ON Christmas!)! Speaking of Ronee', she is sick: she has a bad cold, and she had to go to the doc's yesterday. She is in bed, sleeping her life away, and I can hear her snoring. She sounds like a little baby buzz saw, and it is so cute to listen to her! LOL Her cat "Cajun" is snoring too, and it is really funny to listen to their "duet"! LOL
I have some sad news to report: my little cousin in Memphis, Tennessee, Cajun Marie (she was my daddy's brother's kid), died on December 4. She had a lot of health problems, even worse than me (if THAT is possible, but it IS!), and she was always sick at one time or another. She couldn't walk (she used a wheelchair, like me), and she couldn't see, couldn't eat (she ate by a tube in her belly), couldn'lt talk, or couldn't hear, but she knew in her own way that she was loved, and she was a really cute kid. I am going to miss my little cousin; she was a sweetie! I have been very sad since finding out about my cousin, and my daddy has been crying his eyes out. I feel so bad for him! It's not fair that a kid had to die so young; but now Cajun is an angel, and she is with Jesus; and so I guess that is a good thing, no??...
I have been feeling pretty good, haven't had any problems to put me in the hospital, but I am waiting for something to happen, and I don't like waiting for something bad to happen to me. I think I am doing good, and then WOOM! Something happens, and I end up in the E.R. again, with docs and people shoving tubes up me, and not knowing what in the heck is going on because I am so pfffffffft!, or out of it! Then, when I wake up, I find myself in the hospital again, with tubes up my wazoo, or up my nose, or in my arms, and I am wondering WHAT in the heck is going on and HOW did I end up here?? I HATE that when I lose days; I want those days BACK!!! No wonder I am so confused at times! NOT good!!
How was your Thanksgiving? We had a million people over, and we went out to eat at the Golden Corral and watched the Dallas Cowboys play the Bears. (The Boys won handily, but they haven't done squat since! They STINK worse than rotting onions as of late! I am NOT happy about my BOYS!! They play more like CowGIRLS! I am going to have to find a new team to root for, but the problem is the only football team I really like is the CowBoys, and lately, they STINK!!) We had a good time, and it was great seeing Kendra and her family, my sissies Dwerlina, Lightning, Tanya, Melizza, and Dianna again, and also my friends Michael and Jenna (AND Sikik!) from Alaska, and our friends from Texas, the Pearsons! Now it is almost Christmas, and Kendra and her family are coming again, and so are Dianna, Melizza, and Dwerlina, and maybe I will get to meet Kendra's new kid from Japan--that is, if she gets there before Christmas!
What are you doing for Christmas? We are going to stay home, and we will have the Williams family over from California, and my sissies from Louisiana and just a few miles from here; and who knows who else will show up? Yesterday and the day before we had our friends from Alaska, Michael and Jenna Doucet, come, and they brought us Christmas (but we can't open their presents until THE Big Day, darn it!!); they stayed for two days, but they have since left to go to Louisiana, as Michael's family lives there, and they are going to have Christmas in Louisiana. I already miss them! Maybe they will stop by again on the way back to Alaska??...I hope so; I really love them!
Well, Rebekkah, I will write more later; my fingers are too pooped to pop, and my eyes are bothering me again. I will have to rest now. Again, thanks for writing, and sorry about my not writing to you sooner! I promise not to make it so long between letters next time! Take care, and Yeshua bless!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your pal, Johnn-o in N-Ville. :)
