Dear Rebekkah~
Shalom! Or, as I say in MY language, Bonjour! Comment ca vas?? J'suis tres bon, merci beaucoup!
I thank you for emailing me the other day; and I am sorry if I didn't answer right away, but I was sleeping. Stupid cold kicked me right in the tail, and I am on this stupid cold medicine; and it's gotten my head all fuzzy; so if I sound weird to you, please do forgive me.
I am feeling better today; but maman made me stay home from school, which made me mad because today was our Christmas party. I could have gotten some yummy Christmas treats, but nooooo...maman made ME stay home! I was sooo mad!! Maybe it is better I did stay home because some of the kids were just coming down with the cold or flu, and with MY health being the way it is at times, maman didn't want to take any chances, especially since I am still technically "sick". BAH the Humbug!! :(
I really haven't done a lot these past few days, except go to the doctor's and stay in bed, where I spent it watching tv, writing in my journal, or to my friends (like you, I also emailed Nicole, who is my best friend), or reading until I thought my eyes were going to fall out! LOL I also have been spending it coughing and sneezing my fool head off, and right now my chest is so freakin' sore I am afraid it is going to BREAK if I cough again!! It's a wonder I haven't coughed up part of my LUNG by now from coughing so hard! LOL I AM finally starting to feel better (I am not NEARLY as stuffed, and my cougher seems to be FINALLY settling down somewhat!), and I CAN'T wait until I am over this crud COMPLETELY!! I want to be well by Christmas AND my birthday! I don't WANT to be sick on my Christmas birthday; I've already done that once, and I DON'T plan on doing it AGAIN!! GRRRR!! :(
I especially don't want to be sick because Kendra and her family is coming for Christmas, and so are my sissies Dianna and Melizza! (Dwerlina can't come because she has to work, and Lightning can't come either because HER husband has to work too. BAH the humbug! Steffi has to work too; Golden Corral is open ON Christmas Day, which is a lot of hooey, if you ask me!! I don't think ANY place should have to be open ON Christmas Day! What a rip!! I feel so sorry for those who have to work ON Christmas! Even MAMAN has to work ON Christmas; but then, places like hospitals, police stations, or fire stations are ALWAYS open, no matter WHAT day or holiday it is! BAH the humbug!! So we will have to have Christmas AFTER maman gets off work, which is going to be a PAIN because that will mean we will have to wait that much longer before we open our gifts! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! BAH the humbug!!)
Does your maman work, Rebekkah? If so, what does she do? Does your daddy work too? What is HIS line of work? As you know, both my maman and my daddy work. Maman is a nurse, as you already know, and my daddy, he works at Wal*Mart. My older sisters Steffi and Dwerlina work too; they both work at restaurants. Steffi works at Golden Corral, and Dwerlina works at Mulate's Cajun Restaurant. I work too, but I work at going to school, and I also sing for a living; but that's not like a REAL job, if you know what I mean! LOL
We may have snow before Christmas according to the weather people. They say an Arctic blast is coming from Alaska and Canada, and we are supposed to get cold, cold...and we may even have SNOW before Christmas! So it looks like we may have a white Christmas! I hope so; I will get to wear my brand new winter coat, scarf, and mittens that I got from my tante in Texas! It is really pretty: the scarf and hat are pink, and the coat is white with light blue snowflakes on the front; it looks really warm and comfortable! I also got some earmuffs, they are pink and blue. I love winter, but at times it plays havoc with my asthma, especially when it is really windy (which is one reason why I always have an inhaler on me at all times; that way, if I have an attack, I don't get caught by surprise!)! But despite that, I think winter is my favorite time of year! (Maybe it's coz my birthday is in December? I don't know, but I LOVE winter; always have, always will!) What is the weather like there in Cali? Is it still foggy, or is the fog finally gone? Are you having those Santa Ana winds that they have been talking about on the Weather Channel? I hope not; you are gonna' have to batten down the hatches and try to tie yourselves down, so you don't get blown away! That'd be awful!!
Well, Rebekkah, I am getting tired again, so I will let you go. I am going to try to get some more shut eye; hopefully I won't feel so woozy-headed when I wake up next time! Darn old medicine is kickin' me right in the tail again and it's making me a tad woozy. I will write more later; until later, take care, and Yeshua Bless!

Actually it's je vais bien, I believe in French -- other than that, the character comes through great. I can sense her frustration, illness etc, and don't like her mood, which feels like what you intended. So bulls eyes.
