Ronee', now 12, writes a letter to her friend in California. She hasn't heard from her in a while, and she is wondering how she is doing.

Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Hi! Happy New Year, Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas, and all that jazz! Hope your holidays were good! Mine were: I got a lot of nice things for my Christmas birthday; some of the things I got included a DVD player, some DVDs, five CD's, money (hoooo-man, I got a ton of cash! :) ), books, some computer games, new journals, new pens and assorted art supplies, clothes galore, and other great stuff~ I made out like a bandit! I hope you had a good holiday coz mine ROCKED! :) I also got to sing during the Christmas Cantata, and I had a BLAST!
I saw my new cousins, and they are getting big! They are way past aDORable! I also learned that my friend, M'Buti, is expecting a new baby (and she already has three kids, two of them TWINS)! Much excitement! I also saw my palz from Cali, the Williams family, and they are in the process of adopting a new little girl from JAPAN! I can't wait for her to get here, and I can't wait to meet her when she finally does become an "official Williams"! Maman is busy, she is getting ready to go to Sri Lanka, to help out with the tsunami/earthquake disaster victims, and she will be going in about a month. I pray and hope that she gets there and back safely, and I pray that nothing happens while she is there! I don't want anything to happen to her; I love her too much, and I don't know what I would do if I were to lose her somehow! Be praying for my maman! She can really use the prayers now, and truthfully, so can WE!
Steffi, my older sister, didn't have too good of a holiday: she had to work on Christmas Day, and according to her, the place where she works (Golden Corral) got NAILED! She said everyone and their mother was there, and they were solid out the door from open to close! She said that it was pure-t INSANE there! (Boy, I am glad I don't work there; I'd pitch a FIT if I had to work on Christmas! Now, maman, she had to work Christmas, but it's coz she's a nurse, and they don't get holidays off UNLESS it's an emergency or they request it off or they have seniority, which my maman does. She was off Thanksgiving; this was why she had to do Christmas at work; but next year, she'll be off Christmas Day, which will be NICE coz we won't have to wait until later in the day to open our gifts! That's pure-t TORTURE to make us kids wait to open our gifts while maman is at WORK! I thought I would go CRAZY by the time maman got off!!)
Wasn't that awful, about the tsunami over there in southeastern Asia? Over a quarter of a million dead with many, many more missing: I just can't imagine the scope or the enormity of the disaster; I have been watching the news, and all I can do is cry for those people over there! I also can pray for them; and I think that is nice that all these nations are helping them! I just hope that if we ever have a crisis like that they reach out to help US instead of dissing us all the time! :(
I have been off school for the past two and a half weeks, and frankly, I am more than ready to go back! I am beyond bored!! I have played with all my toys and listened to all my music CD's, and I am ready to do some LEARNING! I miss my palz there, and I miss my teachers! I also have been playing outside on the nice days, and been holed up in the house on the not so nice days (like yesterday; yesterday it rained practically the whole day, and I was ready to pull out my hair from being bored! LOL). Today it is finally clearing up, but alas..more rain is forecast. I can tell! My body doesn't lie when it comes to things like inclimate weather; I can always tell when the weather is fixin' to change! GRRR!! It is SO annoying!! :( How has YOUR body been behaving lately? I hope you haven't had any problems!
Well, I've yammered on long enough; time to put this thing to bed. I will write as soon as I hear from ya! I miss hearing from ya! Take care, and God bless! Talk at cha later!

P.S.: OH! OH! OH! Did I tell ya that I am trying out for that tv show again, "America's Most Talented Kids"? They are currently holding auditions for the second season, and I am planning on trying out (again) when the tv people come to Nashville! Wish me luck; this should happen within a month or two. I will keep ya posted! Be praying that I don't choke (like I did the last time; I was plenty nervous!!), and I make it! That'd be too AWESOME!!
