Johnny emails his friend in California after she has emailed him.
Saturday, January 8, 2005 (almost 11 in the morning)~

Dear Rebekkah Rachel~

Hi! This is your friend, Johnny, in Tennessee! Thanks loads for writing; it is good to hear from you, even if you DID write a girly letter! LOL (I am a BOY; I am not interested in that ballet stuff, but I AM glad you enjoy it!)

I am sorry the weather has been lousy there. I have heard on the Weather Channel that California has been having storm after storm after storm...makes one wonder if God is mad at you or something; I pray that the sun returns to California soon! But unfortunately, you guys aren't alone in the "bad weather department": the Midwest has had floods from the recent snows and then the fast warm up and then the relentless rains, and the northern states, like around the Canadian border, have been freezing their tails off again, thanks to the Arctic chill. Makes me kind of glad that I am here in Tennessee, but we have had our share of rainy weather too. I have been giving my new remote-control Hummer a workout, and so far, Kwame', my dumb little brother, has managed to stay away from it!

Be praying for maman...she is going to Sri Lanka on Monday, to help with the sunami/earthquake victims. Pray she has a safe trip to and from Sri Lanka, and pray that nothing happens to her or her team while they are there helping out the people! Ronee' has really been upset these past few days, and it seems that any little thing can get her to start crying all over again. She has really been moody lately, and it is driving me CRAZY!! Be praying for her too; she has really been a wreck lately!!

I will miss maman when she goes to Sri Lanka; but I know that God wants her to go, so maybe nothing will happen to her. I hope not! (Now I am starting to sound like Ronee'...ARGGHHH!!) I hope nothing happens to US while she is there; that'd be AWFUL!!

School is going well; I haven't had any kids bother me, which is good. I hate it when kids tease me or stare at me! I have enough troubles on my plate without anyone bugging me; WHY must they always bring out my problems when it is the LAST thing I want to think about?? I KNOW I am in a wheelchair, and I KNOW I have this stupid MD! I just wish they'd keep their business to themselves and leave ME (and others like me) the heck alone!! It's no wonder I have been a grouch lately!

I haven't had any problems with my seizures acting up, but if I DO have one, I know what to do, and so does my family. So far, I have managed to stay out of the hospital, and I haven't had TOO much problems with my breathing. I still have to wear this stupid oxygen, and it's a pain, especially if the prongs dig in my nose again or if I get an oxygen headache coz it's set up too high again, or I go to go somewhere, and I forget I am hooked up to the oxygen tubing, and I about choke myself again! At times I feel like I am a dog on a leash! It's so annoying!! I wish I could just ditch this oxygen, but I can't because my lungs just aren't that strong anymore, and I need it. Such as life when one has a disability like mine. I just hope they find a cure soon before I end up holding up the daisies, and I hope that this doesn't happen for a VERY long time!

I am sorry you fell, but I AM glad you weren't hurt. That has got to be scary when you fall, and you don't know if you hurt yourself or not because of your inability to feel pain. But I AM glad your mom took you to the doctor's, and I AM glad you are okay! Ronee' fell before, while outside, but she didn't hurt herself. She stepped in a hole, and down she went. She couldn't stop herself from falling. We just heard her cry out and then a big "THUD" and then her going "OOFFF!" when she landed; when we went to see what had happened, there was Ronee' on the ground, her legs (and her crutches) all askew. She wasn't hurt, thank goodness; but she WAS rather embarrassed, and her clothes WERE quite muddy! She looked like the Monster from the Swamp, and I am sorry, but I couldn't help BUT laugh at her when I saw her muddy clothes! She looked so funny! Ever since she has been giving me dirty looks coz I laughed at her! I tell you, some people have absolutely NO sense of humor whatsoever! Ronee' can be such a GROUCH when she wants to be!! SHEESH!!

Well, Rebekkah, I will go now, I have to eat some breakfast, so I can take my pills. I haven't eaten yet, and I am about to starve to DEATH! I will write more later; thanks for writing back! It is always good to hear from you! Take care, and God bless!

(((HUGS))) and love, your pal in Tennessee, Johnny. :)

I think that it is natural to laugh because it breaks the tension.
