Angela waits in the small room outside the principal’s office. This is the third time this year she’s been caught smoking on school grounds, and Mr. Ringwald is making good on his promise to call her mother. “What’s a nice girl like you from such a nice family—doesn’t your mother work so hard—doing hanging out with that crowd?” he asks, indicating with a nod of his head the chair she’s to sit in.

you never know what kids will do while their parents are working or off doing other things that parents do. parents need to become parents instead of acting like the children's best buddies, and they also need to inforce discipline in both the home and in school. great write, peggy!

My daughter was put on suspension because she hit a punk in the mouth for biting her.
The bulk of the collection is eight short stories that are set in yesteryear. The compilation is filled out with four entertaining fantasy pieces and three poems.
