Sari is pleased to have finally heard from her friend at long last after Louisiana has written her a very newsy letter about their latest happenings. (She doesn't know about Louisiana needing to have back surgery yet.)

Dear Louisiana~
Hai! Miita kuulu? Kiitos hyvaas!
You don't know how happy we were to get your beautiful letter; it has been a while since we last heard from you, and we were both starting to get a little concerned. But then we went to Sri Lanka, not knowing that we would eventually run into you there; what a wonderful (if totally unexpected) surprise THAT was!!) It was so nice to see you; but you looked so tired! I pray you have since caught up on your sleep upon returning home to America! I bet your family was so glad to see you again once you stepped off that airplane! We left right after you did, and we were never so happy to get back to Finland; Sri Lanka was just too hot for this Finnish girl to handle! (I passed out that evening on the day we saw you, after you left to go back home to where you were staying; I nearly had heatstroke; and I was sick for a week afterwards! I was still sick when I got home; and now I am just back to feeling as well as I was prior to going to Sri Lanka! I still feel a little weak, but I am eating again, and every day I feel a little bit stronger!)
From the sounds of things, it seems as though your family (and you) are all doing well; that is so good to hear! I was hoping that nobody was sick; it always upsets me to no end whenever I hear that one of your children (or your husband) is sick; but I am happy to know that everyone is doing well! I am doing okay, still having problems with my fibromyalgia, but I have Nikolas to hold me whenever I am hurting, and he takes such good care of me. He treats me like a queen, and to tell you the truth, a girl can get used to getting spoiling like this! We love to sit in the sauna, and we sometimes feel like we got to...*blushing; laughing like an idiot, is Sari!* LOL) Well, never mind....LOL I just look at my Nikolas, and he just makes me MELT, if you know what I mean!! LOL
And to think that THIS is the year when I officially become Sari Annike Constantinos! We are only a few months away from our wedding, and I can't WAIT to see you or Bill again when you come to Greece for our wedding! This is going to be so much fun!!
I was happy to hear that Ronee' is making it in her singing career, and I hope that the show that she is going to be on is shown here; but somehow I don't think it is. Oh, well...you will have to tape it for me, if you can. I will pay you for the expense of the tape (plus the shipping and handling charges). I was equally happy to hear that Johnny has been doing well with his health; he has certainly been through a lot of bad experiences with it, hasn't he? I have been praying for him every day, and whenever I go to church (every Sunday), I always light a candle and say a prayer just for him! I just love him so much; he is such a sweet young man!
It sounds like you and Bill have both been busy at your jobs; but I bet you make lots of money. Maybe you can get yourselves one of those HUMMERS?...I can just see you in one of those things; I saw one for the very first time when we went to Helsinki last weekend, and it looked like something you would see in the war! It was about as big as a TANK, maybe even BIGGER than one, maybe! Now Nikky wants to get a HUMMER, but I have no idea on how much one costs; do you happen to know how much a HUMMER costs over there in America?? Let us know, okay? Thanks!
The weather is snowy and cold out today, but nothing terribly cold or windy; it's just a nice, easy snowfall, big, fat flakes, not too light, not too heavy, just right. Temps are in the low 20's here, but it is much better than what northern Alaska and parts of the northern parts of the Arctic have been dealing with as of late. Oh! Speaking of Alaska, have you finally heard from your friends Jenna and Michael Doucet or that other girl...what was her name? Sickie or something like that! For some oddball reason, I can never remember her name! LOL I hope you have heard from Sickie; seems like you told me it's been a while since you last heard from her! How is the weather over there in Tennessee? Is it cold there, too? Did you get anything of that huge blizzard that hit a good part of the United States? I certainly hope not; that was a lot of snow that fell in some of those places! I feel sorry for those poor people over there where the blizzard hit! And then all that terrible flooding in Ohio, Indiana, and that area of the country...and the mudslides in California...GOSH! What wacky weather to be found in America! Makes me sort of glad that I am here in Finland; at least the weather is behaving itself here!
Well, I must go now; I have to feed my reindeer, and also make Nikky his supper; he went out to see some of his friends, and he should be back soon. He was gone for a good part of the afternoon; they get out and do things once a week, and today was their day to spend time together. I will make him some warm borscht (Russian soup; he LOVES it! So do I, for that matter! LOL), and for dessert, riisipuuro (baked rice pudding that is very good); this ought to warm his little tummy up! I have been cooking a good part of the afternoon while Nikky has been gone, and I think he will enjoy what I have made him! I will write more later; sorry this isn't so long, like your delightful letter; but I am not as good of a letter writer as you are! You make me look stupid; you seem like Einstein while I look so foolish! LOL Until I next hear from you, my friend Louisiana, you take care, and Nakemiin!

P.S.: Please enjoy the picture I have put on this letter; it is one of the breathtaking auroras we had last week; Nikky took the picture with his camera while we stood in the backyard of my home. Isn't it beautiful? Nikky was just in awe over the auroras; and I was enjoying just watching the reactions on his face! He looked like a little boy on Christmas!
