Ronee' is relieved that her television taping is over. Happily, she did quite well, much to her amazement, and she scored high points (but not nearly enough to win; she was like the third highest scoring performer). Still, she was happy that she scored as high as she did.

I think I can start breathing again...*GASP! GASP!* I am happy to say that I made it through my television portion without falling down on my face, or without messing up the words; I made it through my song! I was shaking bad (I could feel my body shaking like a leaf as I sang!), but I did it!! :) Now I am sitting here, in a daze. I didn't win, but I DID score higher than I figured that I would (I had a 9.62), with only two other acts scoring higher than me. (The one act, a juggler, aged 10, scored a 9.67, and the other act, a teenaged girl, aged 14, sang, and she ended up winning the marbles with a score of 9.84. She was quite good, and I was quite impressed by her lush, smoky-sounding voice!) But I still did quite good, and here I was, all worried for NOTHING! When am I ever gonna' learn not to worry like such a doofus?? LOL
I am sitting backstage, with the other acts, and we are laughing and talking; and some of the other acts were hoping that I would have won; but I told them that I was happy just to BE here, and I was happy to have had the chance to meet the judges and the hosts, let alone, the other kids, and I had fun during my set. I sang Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This" (it WAS "my moment", but I didn't win; still, I had FUN!! :) ), and all I did was close my eyes, drew in my breath, concentrated really hard, and let the melody fly when I opened up my mouth! :) I didn't care what the others may have thought of me: I just went out there on stage and did my best, and I think I ended up doing pretty good! I am quite proud of myself, and it helped having daddy there, cheering me on! It also helped having the Williams family and the Mason family out there; they were in the audience, and when I saw them, and heard them calling "Ronee'! Ronee'!" when I came on, I about DIED!! I saw that some of the kids were holding signs with my name written on them, and it made me feel like a diva-in-training! I felt like a SUPERSTAR! :)
After I got done performing, and after I visited some with the fellow performers and judges, I then went to where my daddy and my California friends were sitting, and they said that once we left the studio, they were going to take me to the Hard Rock Cafe' here in L.A., and they were going to treat me to the best "after-performance" party I have ever had! So I guess I have a lot of treats in store, and frankly, I am not used to being spoiled like this! I am going to get a big head if I am not careful!! LOL
Bye! Gotta' run; I hear my daddy and my friends calling my name; guess they are ready to take me to the Hard Rock Cafe'! C ya!
