Louie is excited today; she is going home from the hospital later today. She decides to write one more letter to her California friend, Kendra Williams, after Kendra has emailed her. She is waiting to see her doctors one last time and then will wait for her husband to come pick her up.

I was so happy to hear from you again; thank you for writing and telling me more about little Hopie! She sounds like a lovely little girl; and I am so happy that she is already getting the love she needs! I was also happy to hear that you may be adopting a child from Sri Lanka later on; but I DO have but one question: was I the one who inspired you to do this, or was it the Lord talking?? LOL
Thank you too, for sending me pictures of the girls; Kia is such a little cutie, and so is Anna Grace! Anna is really getting big, and she is getting prettier as she gets older! I will have to send you an extra picture of Ronee' to give to Anna; I know she and Ronee' are the best of buddies! And your little Hopie: she is a beauty, too! She looks so cute in her kimono! She reminds me of Gemini when she was smaller; Gemini is now taller than ME, and she is 13 now! Seems like only yesterday when we brought her home from the airport; where DO all these years go to??
I was sorry to hear that you need surgery in June, but scoliosis is nothing to mess with, especially when it impedes with your breathing or causes undue pain. I will most certainly keep you in prayer, and I will have the prayer team at Christ Community Assembly of God pray for you; so don't you worry: you will be covered in prayer!
I was happy to hear that the girls are very accepting of their newest sister from Japan; it wasn't that easy in my family at times. When the seven kids after Ronee' and Johnny came to our family, Johnny and Ronee' both had a time adjusting to the sudden influx of the arrival of new siblings, and they were jealous because they were no longer getting the extra attention; but they soon saw that we still loved them, so they settled down, and they gradually learned to accept their new brothers and sisters.
The weather in Soulsbysville sounds almost like the weather here: today it is SNOWING here in Nashville, and it is cold out! I had to bundle the kids in their winter clothes, and just a few days ago, we had temps in the 50's and sixties! Such crazy goings-on in the weather department! They even hads SNOW as far south as ATLANTA, GEORGIA! Sorry it has been raining there a lot lately; but glad you have had some sunny days, so at least it isn't a TOTAL washout!
I am in a very good mood today: I will be going home today; I am waiting for Drs. Stryker and Harlowe now (they will check my incision, to make sure there is no leakage or infection; I already know there isn't because I am not in any severe pain), and later today, when Bill gets off work, he will come get me. I will be on this walker (and wearing this darn back brace!), so getting into his Bug will be nothing short of a huge production; this is going to prove to be very interesting...LOL I will be so happy to see my kids and my animals; I know they must have been going CRAZY without me being there! Well, I have been going stir-crazy here in the hospital; the food is lousy, and I have had but very little in the way of rest; and I am TIRED....My arm is all bruised from where I had the I.V., but the bruise is starting to fade, and it doesn't seem to be nearly as sore as it was when I first woke up from my surgery.
Well, I hear voices outside my door, and it sounds like Drs. Stryker and Harlowe (sounds almost like a law firm, doesn't it?? LOL); so I will get off this and write you again when I am settled in at home. I am looking forward to going to my house; I really don't like spending my time away from the kids or my hubby, and I really don't like being in the hospital...Until the next time, Kendra, take care, God bless you all, and just be careful, is all I ask!
