Dear Anna Grace~
Hey! How are you doing? I was thinking of you; it sure was nice to see you when I was in California! You guys really made my day; thanks for coming to my TV taping! It really meant a lot to me, and it was cool getting to meet Rebekkah Cohen and her parents! She is a nice kid (just like you! HA)!
I am writing this on the bus; am on my way home from school. School was fun, but because of the inclimate weather we had to have recess inside (it is SNOWING here!!); but that is okay; I really don't mind the snow, but the cold DOES cause my joints to ache something fierce. Still, the pain isn't TOO bad; at least I can move without screaming in agony! And at least I am not flaring; so that is good!
I am excited: maman is supposed to come home from the hospital today; maybe she will be home when I get to my house! I hope so; I have really missed her like CRAZY! She did really well during her surgery, but it will be a while before she can get back to doing what she was prior to having her surgery; she will be on a walker and will be wearing a back brace, so we will have to help her whenever she needs it. Still, I don't mind; at least she is feeling better, and I love helping my mother out any way I can! (Same with my daddy!) Her little Pomeranian, "Cajun Gold", has really been unhappy since she's been gone: all she's done is mope around the house, looking so sad and lost! I really felt sorry for her; and I swear if she could cry tears, she wasn't far from doing so! She looked so pitiful, and each time I looked at her, my heart broke!
How are your sisters doing, and has Hope arrived yet? I hope you are treating her well; I know she will be scared for a while until she gets used to y'all; but I am sure you will help her, and it shouldn't be TOO long before she gets used to being in a family! I bet she is a cutie! You will have to tell me more about her when you write! How is your mom? Is she still having the pains in her back? I feel sorry for her; she looks so uncomfortable with the curve in her spine, and it makes ME hurt just looking at it! *OW, OW, OW!* Is she going to have surgery to help straighten out her back? If so, I hope and pray it goes well!!
Well, I will go now; we just got to the house, and I will have to shut this off and continue later on today. I also have to get my crutches and go to the ramp, so I can get off the bus without my risk of having a bad fall. I don't need to fall, not with my achy-breaky body! OW! That would NOT be at ALL good, especially if I break something...Until later, this is your friend signing off. C ya later, alligator! Luv and miss you like crazycakes!

The pic is of me taken a few years back; I was fooling around with my sister's walker, and I was having fun! :) I did use a walker for a while, just like this one, but it was because I had a stroke on my eighth birthday; and it was NOT fun AT all! I am lucky I am off that thing; walkers are nothing but a huge pain!! :(
OMG and I know walkers are a pain, a REAL pain. I have to use a walker whenever I go outside of the house. Thnx sis, this is a very moving story about friendships. May the Lord be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love, peace, & (((HUGS)))... Barbie
