Dear Journal~
This is your friend, Gemini, writing. I am sorry for not writing sooner, but I have been unbelievably busy, what with my dance or gymnastics lessons, gymastic or dance meets, lessons in country-style fiddle, schoolwork, and so forth. I am so busy, I don't know whether I am coming or going at times!
But I have been well: haven't had too many seizures, or haven't had to go to the hospital, and I think my doctor has finally found a medicine that can help me. I haven't had a seizure in about a month now, and it has been GREAT! This has been an answer to prayer, and I consider it a major miracle!
I am kind of jealous of my little brother, Johnny, who is one year younger than me, and also my older sister, Barbara, who will be sixteen tomorrow: the mugs are going to ALASKA for a week's vacation! Seems that mom's friend, Sikik Grace Eegeesiak, who lives waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up there in Barrow, Alaska, in the northernmost part, has invited Johnny to come spend a week with her and her family, and Barbara happened to be asked to go along with Johnny to Alaska. So now they are BOTH going, and I am sooo jealous! My mom, daddy, Johnny, and Ronee' went to Alaska last year on a CRUISE, and they were there for two fun-filled weeks! They said they saw and did so much, and they will never forget their Alaskan cruise as long as they shall live! I wish I were going, but then again, after I heard how cold it is in Barrow at the present time (it's like in the TEENS up there now! BRRR!! Too cold for MY Southern Korean-born blood! LOL), I said, "Wellll, maybe not! I'd just as soon stay home!" LOL
Ronee' also has been busy: she recently went to Hollywood, California, where she taped a segment of the show "America's Most Talented Kids", and she got THIRD place out of seven! We are so proud of her, and we will be able to see her on tv later this summer! I can't wait! I heard she did a bang-up job in impressing the judges with her singing talents, and the audience just loved her! (Only two other kids had points higher than Ronee' 's, but it wasn't by much; it was a close one.) Still, even though she lost, she was still happy, and she said she had a blast!
I am going to be in the Easter Cantata this year: I am going to be an angel. I have never been in the Easter Cantata at our church, Christ Community Assembly of God, but this year, Pastor Bilkey, the senior pastor of our church, asked me if I was interested, and after I tried out, I was accepted. So now I am in a play, and I am to be an angel. I am not nervous yet, but I am sure that when the date of the Cantata draws nigh, I will be a basketcase! LOL

Again I like the way you bring out the disability Gemini has, by mentioning her seizures, but at the same time you let the world know that her life moves forward and reaches far out beyond her medical problems. This is a message that everyone needs to hear so they can realize that a person may have a disability but they are not just their illness or disability. Job well done my friend. A dilightful write
