Sun burns down on the back of my neck. Leaving scars of the many fights. Like fingers, I claw my way to the top of the stairs. My victim waits unknowing the fate. Hunger and burn driving desire, waiting in my being.
Slowly, with want, I stalk my prey. Lunch it shall be for my 'youngins' and me. It is now just a matter of time. Squalls scream in wait of the new child. Waiting so patiently, mother to mother we face each other. Which to be the winner one of us it shall be. She extends the deadly weapon a claw. I scurry deep in the fur. Claws rip me loose; spill me out on the floor. A foot later, just another spot, but hundreds of my off spring, wait for their chance.
It is just a matter of time and the blood fresh they will drink to plant and survive. Days and nights bring closer the resolve. All things wish to live and expand their fortunes on animal or land.
Begging cat rubs up against his leg. All is well in what we do. Life lives again. Run your fingers through my hair. Feel the love. It is no different from one to the other. Survival burns like desire. Predator and carrier of a different but a newer parasite. Feed existence man to woman.
