Sauna is the name of a nightclub in Montréal,Canada. I have spent endless nights and mornings within, trying to assuage pain;dancing ,singing...Sauna is youth on the verge of lust.
My body swayed to the rhythme of the drums.Blasting in the night air,the synthesizer hammers and perforates the stillness.Bodies everywhere, kissing and hugging, enacting fantasies and tongue-twisting dreams of lust.

Release:it's warm on the dance floor and the lights, pink, purple, fluorescent green create looming shadows on the walls, adding to the euphoria of the moment. The alcohol surges to my head, wraps my body in numbness-gesturing and singing on the platform,I am ready to blow!

I had lost my group in the throng of loners ,dancing under the spotlight and I knew that the labyrinth of the nightclub would increase the solitude.Quick! A drink or a cigarette to hide my transparency-I would came out alive of this sauna atmosphere of debauchery.

Dawn:mornings after dancing are lazy and drunk.Walking home,I stop to buy fags and then pop into a coffee shop.'Five dollars'.My cheap breakfast of eggs and sausages satiates the pulsating hunger, existing after this night of endless grabbing. The words of the waitress echoes in my brain and I feel drained of energy,of life-just on the verge of collapsing.

Back home, I close my eyes, recall the bounce of the music, the aggressive techno of the machines.I feel alive and content in the warm envelop of my bed.Soaring,I dream of docile lovers and barbie dolls and in my veins, the music still kicks and screams, drumming in cadence with my heartbeat.

Wow, this is a helluva write. I could feel the pressure of energy when reading about the body to body dance floor, see the exotic neon lighting streaking through the throng of bodies, feel the vibes from the techno machines... I've never been to a club like this, until now. The whole piece throbbed with excellent rhythm. Great write.
