Florida resident Eddie Galen Greene answers his Tennessee friend's letter. Eddie Greene is friends with fellow South Floridian, Betty Jo Ciagalore, and also Louisiana Sandusky in Tennessee. All three are also members of a community made up of adoptive parents, and they regularly keep in touch with each other.

Dear Louisiana~
Hello! Thank you so much for your sweet letter; I loved the picture of the cruise ship floating in the Alaskan waters; now Minka and I are wanting to go on a cruise somewhere! LOL I hope this finds you, Bill, and the children well; I am so happy to hear that you made it through your recent back surgery! That is wonderful news! :) How are you feeling now, Louisiana? I hope you are feeling much better by the time you get this email! God has been good to you and your family, hasn't he? He has been equally good to ours as well: the children have all remained well, and we haven't had to call any ambulances over lately, which is a good thing. :)
I hope this finds you and your beautiful Rainbow Family well; we are surviving, but if it doesn't stop raining here soon, we just may turn into DUCKS! LOL *QUACK* LOL I certainly hope the weather is much nicer where you are at; if so, could you PLEASE spare us some of that beautiful Tennessee Sunshine with us water-logged Floridians? *PLEEEEAZE?* What are you doing for Easter? We are going to my parents' house not far from here, and we will have an Easter dinner after church. But other than that, we have no idea what else what we may do for Easter. Just stuff our faces full of chocolate and think of the REAL reason why we celebrate Easter, I guess....LOL
You are so lucky to have been on a cruise already...and now you may be going on TWO more in the future?? WOW, I wish I had YOUR pay! LOL You will have to tell me more about your Alaskan cruise the next time you write; I am all ears!
I was happy to know that your daughter, Ronee', did well on her tv program. I will have to watch for it when it comes on our tv later this year. I was also very happy to know that your son, Johnny, is getting ready to go on HIS trip to Alaska. That is going to be so fun for him; I bet he is really getting excited about now and is really looking forward to it! I wouldn't mind going to Alaska, really, but since living here in Florida for about all my life, I just don't handle the cold well; never have, never will. But Alaska DOES look like an awfully pretty place! Now, my wife, Minka, LOVES cold weather: she is from Russia, so she is used to things like cold, ice, and snow! She hates the weather here, but this is where we live now, so she has to learn to make the best of it and try to acclimatize herself to the hot, humid Florida temps!
Thank you for telling me about your second book, as well as your third book to be; I shall have to look for them when they become available in print! You are such a talented writer: your letters are so vibrant, and they make me glad to appreciate wriring! I never was a real fan of writing until I went to college, and once I discovered I had a knack for writing, I decided to dabble around in doing some articles about family life with kids who have disabilities as well as life here in Southern Florida; but as for books, I still have yet to have one to my name. Fact is, I am also scared of sending my manuscript in, for fear of getting rejected! I don't know what I would do if my manuscript was rejected; I would just DIE! (NOT really, mind you, but I would NOT be at ALL happy!) How do YOU handle rejection, Louie, and are there any other "budding authors" in your family? Has anyone in your family besides you written a book?
Well, Louie, I know this isn't long, but I have to rescue Minka: she is stuck in a kneeling position on the kitchen floor, and she can't get up. She has been having problems with the arthritis in her knees acting up, and once in a while, they really give her grief...like today. And the rain certainly is NOT helping! I will write more later; until then, take care, and have a most blessed and joyous Easter! God bless you all mightily! Write when you can; I always look forward to your letters!

Jeez! Hope somebody helps Minka up from the floor, that's gotta be painful on those old bony, arthritic knees. Nice work.
